Amazon Basics by SKIL 4V Cordless Stick Screwdriver with 10-Piece Bit Set and USB Cable(Previously Denali brand)

Well, I took a chance on this one and am happy with it. I also bought a Makita Screwdriver set as well. The difference is the handle on the Makita that slopes down for a tighter application, but basically they are the same with one difference I find important. The Makita does not show the charging is done. If it does, I cannot find it. But you just charge when you need to. But this one has a nice weight, size, easy to use, has a light (important) for dark spaces, and enough force to do the all around household etc and more. Very comfortable to hold for a woman, and the bits go in and out securely and easily. It is built really well. It charges via a plug and a micro C into the driver. Amazon sure stepped up on this one. A great all around driver to have. Every household should have one.

This is actually pretty impressive not going to lie. I normally use impact wrenches and impact drivers with hex socket adapters for the type of repairs and things i do. But this thing has enough power to complete light to medium duty jobs. Small engine stuff like the modern Briggs engines you can definitely get the majority of stuff done. For $20 this is way more cost effective than a impact wrench and maybe even hand tools. USB C for easy charging. Torque Test channel did a test on this vs 5 other brands including Skil which makes this and it beat everything.

This electric screwdriver was ready to use right out of the box, which I really appreciated. It has solid torque for most everyday tasks and feels well-made overall. A great tool to have around for quick jobs—easy to handle and dependable.

Useful electric screwdriver I recommend for household use. I already have multiple battery-powered 12 and 18 volt variety of impact/drill drivers from Milwaukee and Makita but all of them are pistol-grip type and rather bulky and take up a lot of space, even the “subcompact” one, especially with it’s rechargeable batteries and charger; so they were all kept away in the tool shed tucked away in a tool box/cabinet, and every time I needed to use a screwdriver for long/repetitive tasks I had to make a trek out to fetch it, then take it back. I wanted something I can conveniently keep in a tight drawer in the kitchen where I keep other light-duty tools for daily household use, and this one fit the bill. When it went on sale it was enough to justify getting yet another power tool. I generally shy away from Am@zon-branded products but after seeing consistent reviews on YT I decided on this one, and I agree it is good. Torque is adjustable and adequate for household use. It’s a bit heavier than I expected but likely necessary to attain its torque capability in this small form factor. Variable speed would have been nice but at this price point maybe it’s too much to ask. I would have given it 5 stars but the final tipping point that dropped it to 4 stars was the USBC cover falling off on first charge; admittedly a small point that has nothing to do with what the driver was engineered to do, but nevertheless the cover design was poorly thought out and was still an annoyance and I couldn’t give it 5 stars. Kudos to the engineer that put this tool together, but shame on them that designed the cover and approved it.

have been wanting to purchase one of these stick screwdrivers for some time for tasks that don't warrant an impact or screw gun. I decided to try this Amazon brand over Dewalt and others, mainly because of the price. I have been mostly pleased with this product. The only issue is that when it reaches max torque for any of the three settings, it pauses for 5 seconds before it will work again.Pros:Very easy to use and saves time over using a traditional screwdriver for basic tasks.Highest torque setting provides ample torque for most tasksgood comfortable grip.I have taken down and put up 10 ceiling fans, and put on 20 door knobs sets, on 1 charge and still plenty left.Nice led lights and usb-c chargingCons:Long charging time for a small batteryPauses for 5 seconds after it reaches max torque level.Overall, this rechargeable screwdriver is a very good value and great for homeowners and DIY'ers. I have used one of these screwdrivers and when it came time for me to get another, after all my research, I didn't find a better value. The grip is good and build quality is quite solid (I dropped it several times with no issues). A minor improvement would be to have part of the shell in a five or more sided shape so the screwdriver doesn't roll off the surface when placed down. Otherwise, it's comfortable to hold for long periods of time, two lights automatically illuminate the screw in forward and reverse, and the speed it easy to control by using finger pressure on the button. If it feels too much resistance it will shut down and the lights will blink a few seconds before you can continue. This only happens to me when I'm screwing into wood, and I've learned to simply finish the screw-in with a drill driver.

Works great. Powerful and the battery lasts a long time. I like the ability to set the power level to avoid over-tightening small screws. Only gripe is I wish the switch was slightly more forward on the body but that is a little thing. Very much recommend this one over the bigger brands - paying for anything else is a waste of money.

Compact driver which is handy to have around, especially for repetitive jobs. There is greater than expected torque, adjustable by three settings. One rocker switch controls forward & reverse but not speed. A viable way to modulate turning speeds would be very helpful especially with small and/or delicate screws. Battery is self contained and not readily interchangeable. Life cycle is unknown, but the cost to replace the internal battery could exceed the cost of the tool itself. The LED light is weak, and essentially useless. A basic tool which should serve a hobbyist reasonably well but is not rugged enough for daily trade use. Inclusion of a basic set of bits is also a nice, and handy, added touch.
