I did not know that this is how brushes need to behave, until I purchased these. They hold their shape well, and hold lots of water. The handles are perfectly polished and has a good weight and balance while holding. They are not cheap or cheaply made and worth every penny. I should have started out with a set like these but had other priorities. Although I've been painting for years, never believed that a professional set was necessary until I tried these. I don't regret it.

Fuumuui Professional Watercolor Brushes (10P) are a complete game changer. After using these, I realized how much time I wasted with other brushes that had poor water holding and broken flow. These brushes have excellent water capacity and give a smooth, continuous flow. They work beautifully for fine lines, long liners, flat washes, broad strokes, and wet-on-wet techniques. Washes spread evenly, blending is effortless, and control feels natural. Perfect for details as well as covering large areas. One brush bends slightly, so gentle care is needed, but overall quality is excellent. This set is a must buy for professionals and beginners — beginners especially will learn correct watercolor flow from the start. Going into watercolors, I'm amassing quite a collection of brushes. I have to try them all and find my favorites. Natural, Synthetic, expensive, cheap. I keep going back to these Fuumuu brushes when I want a full belly brush. The bristles are shorter with a fat belly and a nice tip. I'm finding they retain a good amount of water and spread really well no matter the size. The tip does spring back nicely while working. I do switch to another brand with longer, pointier bristles when I'm needing to work on finer more controlled details, but when I need spread and looseness, these are becoming my go to brushes. The bristles are soft, but have a nice spring and after initial use and cleaning, I've not had any issues with shedding. I don't leave my brushes down in water or dig the points into the bottom of my water jar and, I lay them flat while working. I wash them after I'm done for the day using a tin of solid brush cleaner and conditioner. ,(sold here) When clean, I run them back through the cleaner/conditioner, roll and reshape the point, and lay them flat to dry with the conditioner still on them. Using them daily for 2 weeks, they have held up very well. I'm buying a backup set and a set for a friend as a gift. I highly recommend them for everyone, but especially for beginners because they are inexpensive and super quality, hard to beat. Learning will go much smoother with these. I'm liking them better than my expensive rounds.

These are really nice brushes. They don’t shed, hold water and pigment. Able to do fine detail and quantity work. Bought a second set to use when I do out of area work.

I love these brushes! They keep their shape nicely, as long as you take care of them. I would definitely recommend them to a watercolor artist of any level. I have not noticed any shedding or fraying and they hold water and watercolor paint pretty well. I would purchase again for the price and durability. They function as they should.

So far my mother has no complaints on them. They're sturdy, hold water well, and hold pigment well. So overall it's worth the price.

So far I've only used Round 8 to swatch colors. It holds water and picked up paint very well and released paint nicely. What I most liked while swatching was how clean the paint rinsed out of the brush between colors. I didn't have to keep changing the water. I haven't seen any shedding yet. Will review further after practicing brush strokes.

The brushes and packaging are beautiful and the quality is very nice.

I just received these brushes. I have used the size 8. Holds a lot of paint. Comes to a fine point. Beautifully made. I am waiting to see if it lasts the distance. So far very good quality, and make. Great for wet on wet and wet on dry technique. Great price if the quality holds the distance. Good substitute for far more expensive alternatives.
