Very effective outdoor fly killer
Takes a couple days and if it’s by the door it doesn’t stop them coming inside. Not sure that’s possible. For outdoor usage it does what it says on the tin 100%. 1st time I’ve left a review and that’s because I’ve never had a product blow my mind away. It’s so effective we are starting to feel guilty about the flys! We have ordered more because we don’t know how to dispose of that many flies. Good product for outdoors, 100% works.

Problem with flies in summer, you need this!
I love the summer months, but hate the flies that invade my home whenever a door/window is open. Not only is their presence and noise they make annoying/irritating, but they spread germs etc.I’ve tried the tennis rackets that shock/kill the flies, your tackling one at a time as you chase the critters around.I looked for a more effective solution and found really good reviews for The Buzz Fly Catcher, and wasted no time in placing my order. It’s a very simple item, I read the instructions and to the letter having baited the traps, left them out in full sun which is important for the bait to be activated. In no time it started attracting and trapping blue bottles which it attracts as well as the odd wasp. After a few days, the entire bottle was full, and I set up the other trap which like the first was full within days. The powder in the sachet did not have a strong smell initially, but after a few days, it was very pungent, this is NOT for indoor use, and you want to set the traps away from any open windows/doors as the smell is not nice. But they attract the flies to the traps and I noticed a considerable reduction in flies entering my home, you will still get the odd fly, but they didn’t hang around for long. The traps attract all the flies in the area including breeding flies reducing the number of flies in the area, I found maggots in the traps that had hatched from the dead or dying flies. It’s not pretty, but it really works, and is the best product I’ve found. My neighbour, so impressed by my traps bought some too, and equally had brilliant results. The trap doesn’t attract bees according to other reviews I’ve read, and my traps didn’t catch a single bee which I was concerned about. So bee lovers need not worry.

Amazing
Would have given 5 stars but one was broken. Put up the remaining one and within the hour the body count was on the increase. I was amazed it worked so well, I didn’t notice any smell that previous reviews mentioned.

Very effective fly trap
Apologise for the disgusting picture, but flies are disgusting, and this trap excels at killing them. This is my 2nd year of using it, I used it at the end of last summer and bought some refills, and have been using it for the past month, and this is how full it gets (I have 2).My neighbour or never picks up their dog poo and my other neighbour has a thousand cats, so there are flies everywhere and it's really horrible trying to enjoy the sun whilst having a drink and some food, with flies around trying to land on your food.Since these have been up, I've had a massive reduction in flies in my garden. You just fill it partly with water, like 300ml I think, and then empty one sachet into it, give it a whirl and a mix, hang it somewhere out of sight and not on a path or where you sit, and it'll just attract the flies.

Fantastic product
Excellent product.Purchased a 4 pack and put 3 up straight away.I hung them in trees in different sections of the garden. One started to collect within the 1st hour. Placement should be considered as all three were out up at the same time. One is very full, one doing ok and the other not so many flies in it.If you have one that doesn't seem to be working for you, maybe change the hanging location.I will be purchasing the refill packs for these containers which look super easy to open and tip the contents out into a bag/general waste.

Fly Armageddon - in a small bottle
I saw, I read on here how good it was, and I bought it. First purchased a few years ago, and now purchased again as it really does catch flies. I have bought both these and just the additive only. I have used this, another hanging fly catcher, plus made my own over the last couple of years.Pros- Easy to use, you mix the additive with 300ml warm water in the trap, put it where you would like it and off you go. Can be used at ground level or hung up. It starts catching quick - the trap is very effective at catching flies and the access design means they don't fly back up once in. When the weather is warmer, it catches flies within a couple of hours as soon as it's out. Once it gets going, it catches more and more as the dead putrid ones attract their friends. Currently being early April, it is only catching small ones but when the weather warms up, there will be big flies in there :) It can be left at the back of a chicken run on the ground doing its stuff, with the hens not interested at all. I have used another type of fly trap that works on the same principle and it took 2 weeks to start to catch flies in any quantity and this trap/additive works very fast in comparison.Cons - The small size of the jars. When you start catching the flies, it fills... fast. I filled one in just under two days during one of the hot summers we've had. Can be messy and very, very, very smelly when emptying and refilling, especially if there's maggots & putrified flies in there! Being careful with the fly juice is a must if you plan on emptying and refilling as this is one liquid you do not want to accidentally splash in your eye. It will also stink your bin out if it accidentally leaks so caution advised in disposal. Also, it is smelly if you get an accidental whiff but not as smelly as others I've had. It certainly doesn't stink a garden out, nor house at 10m. The price is a bit steep as well for a small bottle plus some mix (it has gone up considerably from what I've previously paid).Overall, these fly traps made a big difference to the flies in my garden last year and it was noticeable when I had traps out, to not having traps out. The entry design means it doesn't take in water when it rains, which is good (unlike my home made ones). I just wish they were bigger, that you could just purchase replacement bottles only and that the price was reasonable :)
