On the official StarTech.com page for this product (DISPLPORT20L), it states that this is only capable of DP 1.0 speeds, which would be 2K @ 30Hz, or 10.8Gbps bandwidth. When I saw this, I tried to cancel my order, but it was too late... so I decided to just try it and see. Well, I'm glad I did... maybe I just got lucky, but my cable is working with zero problems! I am currently using this for my gaming monitor, which is 2560x1440 @ 165Hz. The connection is very solid... the signal has not dropped out, even if I mess with the cable. It is a thick cable, but not unmanageable. I have it connected to a monolith-style SFF PC case, and it does not have trouble making the bend from the bottom, out the back. Very satisfied with this purchase! YMMV, since officially this cable is not officially rated for the bandwidth that I'm getting out of mine.

Collegato un secondo monitor per il mio studio di registrazione, nessun problema con una scheda video Radeon su hackintosh! 6 metri di qualità che però si fanno sentire sul costo

This cable is rated at 10.8 Gbps and a 3440 x 1440 is about 10.6 Gbps. Works great with my LG 34" widescreen. Use an online data rate calculator and as long as the signal is below 10.8 Gbps, you're good. Overall the cable quality is good. I bought 3 of these and they're all good.

I was looking for 20ft dp cable that can do 4k@60 and not pricey. I found someone on forum (sorry can't remember the link) said this one can do 4k@60 but be sure to buy the new version. So, I took the gamble. And yes. This 20 ft cable can do 4K@60 on my LG 27UD68.
