Top notch quality tool
Quality tool but it is expensive. You get what you pay for…unless it’s a montblanc pen refill!

TORQUE SPECS FOR THIS TOOL NOTICE
Please Note: - Some of the reviews here quote Sram Dub Torque specs of "50nm" for this tool..(and showing a damaged tool) THIS IS INCORRECT - that torque rate relates to the Crank Bolt and NOT THE Bottom Bracket Cups that this tool is for. The BB Cups have a much lower 35-40nm spec (NOT 50+nm) - This tool is fine so long as you use the right torque specs for your Bottom Bracket - Please review the documentation that relates to your Bottom Bracket model and check your specific torque recommendations.

It works as expected
IT works as expected... Surely that should be a 3 star review... it does the job well but doesn't make a brew as well! ;)

It's Park Tool.
Expensive considering how rarely it will be used, but of the usual high quality from Park Tool. I'm happy to pay a bit more rather than risk damage to an expensive bike.

Brilliant, wish I had bought in the first place
Don't get any of the other rubbish tools here on Amazon they're just awful. Parktool tools just work and they're expensive but will save you a lot of money

Park Tools & MTB tool = Utter Garbage
Garbage of the 'HIGHEST' order. A 'machined aluminium' socket tool that is softer than the bottom bracket it is removing? Marzipan would make a better tool than this ... utter garbage! I have automotive tools from 30 years ago that still are like new and 'actually work'! The BB socket deformed on very first use. As an engineer that has built car engines that have done +150mph, it always utterly amazes me that the mtb community think that Park Tools are something special? Whey are all mtb tools excessively overpriced and next to useless? Yet the internet is afloat with mtb influencers that underline how good Park Tools are? Buy decent car tools ... better quality, half the price and 'will' last you a lifetime - not just one use. Advice - steer clear of mtb tools .. especially this Park Tool item!
