Used with 6 Hive GU10s on one gang and 2 Hive SES lamps on the other - dimmed without flickering
Having been through the change, over the years, from Halogen to CFL to dimmable LED and then smart dimmable LED, the complications of dimmer switches have always been an unpleasant surprise as they typically can't smoothly dim lamps with such low power usage. I'd finally installed a Varilight 2 gang touch dimmer, the only one rated, at the time, to cope with loads as low as 0W. Even that dimmer caused my Hive wall lights to flicker. No kidding, if you are affected by flashing lights and you issued the commaned "turn on lights", you'd need to close your eyes until the disco died down. So, since Hive and Hue lamps now take care of their own dimming, I thought I'd replaced the dimmer set up with a good old reliable basic MK 2 gang switch. Despite the labels on the back of the 2 gangs being completely different to the Varilight, and quite confusing, it's all installed and there's not a flicker in sight from either the 6x5W G10s or candle bulbs, even down to 10% dimming. Very pleased, and somewhat traumatised by the exercise of trying to map the wiring from one switch to the other. A satisfying robust chunky click from the switch too.

Simple function from an established brand
Went for the functionality and trust that the brand will honour itself in how reliable it will actually be in the future. Not supplied with screw covers if that's important for you. Otherwise it works as expected and was a straight forward replacement for a much older switch.

Everything you expect from MK
This was everything you would expect from MK – a good solid feel, a well defined click and well finished.

slightly dud
Have a few of these MK in my house, needed an extra one, but the last one I got the screws were almost ceased in place, one I couldn't budge without wrecking the head. The replacement one I bought locally wasn't much better, had to work at all the screws to get them moving before attempting to install, not ideal for a better brand- I did my whole house in MK on a rewire couple of years ago.
