Q: Are the trays adjustable to fit different foods?

The food dehydrator offers two options for setting tray heights to allow for thicker foods, if needed. The first is the lower (default) height of 0.6 inches and the second a clearance of 1.1 inches.

Q: What are suggested fruits and veggies?

There are many fruits and vegetables you can dehydrate, such as apples, plums, prunes, peaches, carrots, cucumber, beets, asparagus, okra, and so much more.

Q: Should you precook meat before drying?

All poultry meat must be cooked before drying. Steaming or baking is the best way. For fish, it is recommended to steam or bake before drying.

Q: Is the dehydrator easy to use and control?

Absolutely. Simply turn on the device as displayed from the power indicator and use the temperature adjustment knob to determine length of dehydration time.
