It works. I wanted brown, but the reviews said the "light brown" was super light, so I bought the dark brown. It's pretty dark! So it's true to the picture on thr box. It blended nicely and was easy to do. I just did it, so I don't know about fading or upkeep yet. So far so good. It wasn't a strong smell and I like the keratin mask sample it came with. It covered the Grey hair too.

Absolutely amazing.. I have very thin damaged hair and also had alopecia that left some bald spots on my scalp.. I have very stubborn grays and my hair looks even thinner when they show, trying to do something in between dying because it’s damaging my hair more even though I’m using dyes that are ammonia free.. I see the difference it’s making the more I use it the more damage I have. I tried this one time and it’s absolutely amazing and I used the conditioner that came in the pack afterwards and my hair feels so soft!!! I might switch to this and not even use the ammonia free dyes at all!!! definitely gonna be a new staple in my home and it covered my grays perfectly!! on my first use i did leave it on for 35 minutes though FYI…

Such an improvement over traditional hair coloring products. No bad odors! Easy to use. No irritation. My only negative is with the color. Dark brown is too dark and light brown is too light and too red. More colors with different undertones would be a great.

Y'all... It sticks to the grays. Permanently. This is the first dye I've ever used that I can say that. Not sure why it's considered a "shampoo". It's not. It's a pump that has two nozzles in it. Grab a paper bowl, pump it in, mix it up, voila! Apply to hair. I'm not one to do the tricks to keep it from staining my face. You really do need to do those with this stuff. Or do your hair when you plan to be home for a few days. I went to my daughter's wedding with stains. Luckily, I have bangs. The hair masque... I'm not fond of the smell. It's giving 90's Grandma's decorative soaps. I'm happy with this product.

Took the bottle of rubbish out of the box. Started pumping out the shampoo. Only white cream came out. I thought maybe I’d need to pump more in order to get the dye portion to come out. I pumped nearly half the bottle and still only got white cream. So I washed my hair with white cream left it in for 15 minutes on dry hair. Then I washed it out. The results were absolutely zero effect. It did absolutely nothing. I don’t know if I just got a bad bottle or what. I watched the video for rubbish dark brown shampoo -the same color as mine. They show a brown gel coming out of the bottle. That is not what I got out of my bottle and again I nearly wasted half a bottle trying to get to the dark color.

I purchase both brown & black. Definitely is cost effective as one bottle can last you a year depending on your hair length and coverage area. I color my grey roots every 4-6 weeks. The best thing I like about this product it does not damage your hair like other hair dye or root coverage. I was transitioning from natural black hair to dark brown to light brown, blonde highlights. I started using the dark brown to dye my roots during this transitioning because as my hair started to grow out I knew eventually the dark brown root coverage from this hair dye would be added to my bleach highlights 1-2 inches from root grow out. Dying my roots dark brown didn't not interfere nor damage my hair when bleach was added to the root dye grow out, since the chemicals of this dye is not harsh. My hair is healthy despite dying my roots closely to the scalp using a tooth brush or sallys beauty salon dye application brush with this dye mixture. Since I am dying 1 inch of new grey grow out around my face, it take me about 15-30 mins to carefully apply this shampoo dye closely to my grey roots and not bleed into my bleach blonde/dark brown blended highlights. I use my blow dyer to help the shampoo dye process faster yet no worry of damage to my hair. I wash out my hair easily again with no bleeding to my highlights and this last a good 4 weeks at best but can go 6 weeks until I need to do it again. I do recommend applying a thick Vaseline around your hair line if your using a dark shampoo dye on your roots because it does stain your skin when you dyeing the roots and want longer coverage. If not you will have dark shampoo dye for a few days depending if your wash your face & hair 1-2 times daily. Overall definitely recommend! 💯 💯👌😃 very pleased with this find! Initially found for my 60 yr old mum because she was dyeing her black hair with store bought dye and it was damaging her hair and thinning her hair from the chemicals. My mom is 💯 happy I found this shampoo dye and her hair has been healthy and getting thicker again since the dye & chemicals are not harsh!

The dark brown isn’t the same anymore. It’s not as dark and the coloring comes off as very very red based. Which isn’t good if you need an ash base. The older formula is also red based but not quite as much. I kept it on as long as I typically do and it’s not same color anymore. I had one inch of regrowth before I redid my hair with the new formula. In the right like such as sun light the color has a very different color base. I live in the PNW and it’s very gray and drizzly today or otherwise I would post a photo capturing what I see If you like a strong red base in browns than this is great. I don’t. It comes off green with my gray tones (this happens with all reds and not just this product for me). I may have to play with this product and try adding 1/3 of the black to the brown to cut the reds out. Because I’m not ready to dismiss this product yet.

Love it!!! I mix the dark brown with the chestnut brown to get a softer more natural color. Have been using it for over a year. I have naturally kinky hair and stopped using chemicals and heat for years now, so this is perfect for me and my grays. Don’t miss the $200 salon color visits!

This hair color shampoo is very easy to use and gives great results. The colour looks natural and covers grey hair well. It works quickly and saves time compared to traditional hair dye. In addition, the shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. The smell is pleasant and not too strong. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it.

Product does not adequately cover grey. Ordered dark brown but colour turned out to be light reddish brown. The shampoo dye leaves hair feeling really dry and damaged. Product is definitely not worth the price.

Doesn't cover grey hairs and stains the skin. Even though the colour is dark brown it looks light brown. The product is so expensive for what it is and the results are not satisfying. It's says it's chemical free but it still has some chemicals in it. The advertisements are really convincing tbh. I will not be buying this product again its not for me.
