Quality dosing funnel, for not a lot of coin.
Fit my 58mm Diletta portafilters. It's a nice funnel. Relatively lightweight, it's designed well and unobstructive. Thanks, in part to how the sides are a bit lower than some other funnels. They're high enough to prevent spilling, but not so high to cause problems or interference when going though distribution techniques. The magnets are just strong enough to hold on, without being a burden to remove.

Great Funnel. Very well made.
This is a quality funnel that works well. I only wish they had a "tall" funnel for the 51mm portafilter. The magnets work well with my normcore bottomless portafilter and ims basket. It does not fall off unless you jolt it firmly. Would purchase again without hesitation.

Expensive, but worth it.
I was not thrilled to pay over $20 (on sale) for a dosing funnel, but honestly it's really nice. Firstly, it fits very snugly on a 51mm Delonghi portafilter. It does not wiggle around much or leave gaps thanks to the magnets - so no grounds collect under the funnel. Its shape is good - the top of the funnel flares out so that it catches more grounds (compared to my old one which was just a straight-sided open cone). It's just an aluminum circle, but it is well made and designed. Honestly, it is a huge improvement over my last funnel, so I'd say it's worth the price.

Works well, magnets a bit weak.
I have two of these for two different places. One definitely has stronger magnets than the other so is a bit more likely to fly off if you shake your portafilter too much. Regardless, it does what is needed.

makes it easy to pour into and wdt your portafilter without making a mess
Did you know there are 2 different types of dosing funnels, one with a inner collar/lip and one with an outer one?the normcore dosing funnel has an outer collar/lip, which means it secures to the outside of the portafilter basket, keeping it lined up. i didn't realize when i bought it, but the advantages to the outer lip is that there is no space or gap when the dosing funnel is removed (the inner lip takes up space along the edge of the basket, leaving a ring of space without coffee grounds). having the lip on the outside means, when you're done with your wdt, you don't have to do anything else besides tamp.at first, i was getting grounds all over the place when i was tamping because the grounds would push out to the sides as i was pushing down. i realized that the tamp (normcore v4 tamper) fit perfectly in the dosing funnel, so before i removed the funnel, i would lightly tamp with the tamper, giving me a little more space to place the tamper without worrying about grounds going all over the place.the magnets on this dosing funnel work pretty well, although, depending on your basket, it may work better than others. when magnetically attaching the funnel to different baskets, flipping the funnel upside down and shaking, holding the basket, the dosing funnel held pretty securely to the pressurized baskets that came w/ my delonghi, as well as the basket that came with my bottomless portafilter. the ims precision competition basket however, doesn't hold as securely.i thought at first it was because the lip of the basket was too big, but it turns out it's the same size as everything else. it turns out that while most of the top of the basket is flat, the inner edge is raised, maybe to help keep grounds from coming out. that raised bump on the top of the basket, is taller than the other baskets, so the metal that is to come in contact with the magnet is further away compared to the other baskets. still, it holds it securely enough while using it normally, so i won't be doing any modifications to the ims basket.the normcore also flares out at the top, making it wider. this helps with wdt-ing, allowing to work at more angles compared to the straight walled versions. it also makes pouring your grounds into the basket easier.although a little more expensive compared to other dosing funnels, i am very satisfied with how it makes it easy to wdt and tamp without making a mess. there was a little learning curve/trial and error to find the best way to use it, but i figured it out on day 2.would definitely consider buying another if i get a different machine with a different portafilter size

Don’t buy the cheap one. Buy this one
I had one of these Normcore funnels for my Breville a while back, and when I “upgraded” to a Gaggia, I cheaped out and bought a generic one instead—figured, how much worse could it be? There’s not a lot to this thing, right?I was wrong. The Normcore funnel is just better. The magnets are strong—not too strong—but just right. It stays perfectly in place on the portafilter while you prep your coffee, no wobble, no slipping. And when it’s time to take it off, it comes off smoothly with zero hassle. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference. This is a great piece of kit. Thanks again, Normcore.

Stronger magnets, wider mouth
The magnets on this model are twice as big, so they're stronger than other models. It's still easy to bump this funnel off the portafilter, but at least it won't fall off if you turn the portafilter on its side or upside down. The wider mouth is also very helpful and not too wide. I added a 3D-printed 54mm mount to my DF54, and I can fill my 54mm portafilter with this funnel attached. This funnel is far better than the one that came with the mount.

Perfect fit
It's perfect! The magnets are strong, and it fits great on the portafilter basket.
