Sugarflair Concentrated Food Colours - Mixed Set of 10 SPECTRAL Pastes Prepacked

Arrived well packaged and as ever with sugar flair, it made excellent coloured buttercream

I bought these to use for dyeing fibre for spinning as, being food grade, I can use utensils in my kitchen rather than keeping them separate as I would have to with acid dyes. Plus, I don't have the space for extra equipment in my tiny home. Having tried a couple of colours so far, I am very pleased with the way it turned out. The gel takes a bit of time to dissolve but not too difficult. Very little is needed for a good strong colour and now want to make a special cake so I can colour the icing!

I’m a truck driver not a Baker but I dabble in baking making birthday cakes and things for my family. These are great. I’ve added a couple of photos with what I’ve used them for. The colours are easy to mix through and they give good vibrant colours when mixing buttercream without making it runny and without making fondant sticky and you only need a relatively small amount. They colour well and don’t leak, I have used this make for many years and the only time I changed was to buy a set of colours and although they were suppose to be a similar product the were always leaking in the end i through them out and have now gone back to theses. Great set of colours and good value works out alot cheaper than buying them individually.

Lovely strong colours, only a little needed to build up to the depth of colour you need. Great product.

Very pigmented colours, works very well with fondant/sugar paste, American buttercream and homemade play dough. A little goes a long way, but I do get slightly annoyed with the way you’re expected to get a toothpick to extract the colouring out of the tub. I end up using multiple toothpicks for just one bit of buttercream to build colour. It gets rather messy and more likely to get stained hands than a squeezy type bottle.I would buy again as I know the colour result is great but would not hesitate to find an alternative set with great colour AND squeezy bottles.Colours are definitely more pigmented than the PME set

These colourants are brilliant I have a large collection now they are colour strong so you don't need huge amounts, this is a good value set and I would recommend them.
