I found this table to be almost perfect for my needs. It is a reasonable price, and the width is just right for resting a full size keyboard and mouse next to each other while sitting on the floor and looking at a separate monitor. It could also be employed for any other table like activity and, I daresay, would be quite splendid for putting a laptop on (almost makes me wish I had a laptop) and, while I would not wish to try and sit on it, I feel that the table is sturdy enough for my needs. The only minor point I might mention is the circular indentation about 3mm deep on the left hand side; this seems to be made in the hope that it will stop a cup sliding away. If you wish to put a cup on the table, and always wish to put it in the same place, this may not be a problem. If not, then it will roughly as useful as a 3mm deep circular indentation in a table top might be expected to be. Having said this, I'm still minded to give five stars as this is a very good product for the price :)

Bought this for working from home- sitting crosslegged on the floor at my lappie. Was slightly anxious as had seen a lot of similar items with bad reviews about rough edges and splinters etc but the SONMICS double sided item is very sturdy, with no splinters, and nicely finished. The double sides means I can sit centrally and comfortably. it is a fair weight so if someone is ill or frail night need help to move if used as a bed table - but makes it very sturdy. I've used it for about 3-4 weeks with no prob. I would just say that I put a wet glass in the mug space and it did discolour the bamboo finish a little - so am more careful now and use a placemat. Arrived very quickly and well packaged in bubblewrap to ensure safe delivery. No "handle" on the little drawer but that's not a big issue for me. The "bumper" at the bottom to stop laptop slipping works well. The 5 positions make it very comfy to type and view laptop screen and havent had any issues with it staying in place. The legs extend and have a notch to ensure the extension stays in place - would have been nice to have a slightly higher position - but as it is designed for a bed table, not sitting on the floor - I accept it would change the design and main purpose. it works fine for me. I'm using an ortho coccyx wedge cushion which I bought same time. Very pleased and would recommend this particular version.

Sharing my experience after using for 6 months. So i was tired of sitting on Table & chair during this long WFH period. I wanted a convenient & robust Bed table to use on bed or white sitting on the floor. Pros: 1. Made of wood (totally recyclable) & great quality. 2. My wife is Lefty & am Righty so its very convenient for both of us to use. 3. Adjustable height & quite wide. Can keep notebook, coffee & other utilities on the table at same time. 4. Easy to use when you are in your quilt or duvet. 5. Perfect fit for Mac 15 or above size. 6. Detachable holder for tilting the desk (can be seen in the attached photo) 7. One small cute drawer. 8. 2 cooling openings for fan. Cons: 1. Little on heavier side (obvious due to its size) 2. Not so convenient to move around or just keep it folded on lap. I would recommend the product if you are looking for left & right combo, bigger laptops & want to work from your bed while using duvet :)

I've never been a fan of putting laptops directly onto my lap or onto soft surfaces for fear of them overheating. With this table, I'm able to sit in bed and use my laptop without a worry at all. The legs adjust to different heights to suit your needs and the centre part of the table can be angled also (I've also found it has a dual purpose as an art easel). It's very sturdy and doesn't wobble on the bed. Even with dogs walking around it ive not had any laptop accidents yet. The cupholder I don't care for but it's there if you want to use it. I have a 17" laptop and it overhangs a bit on each side of the tilting middle part but nothing to cause a problem. When the centre part is laid flat there is plenty of room for the laptop. In the little drawer, there is a detachable piece of wood for the tilting stand to prevent the laptop slipping down. It's nice that it can be removed so it's out of the way if you aren't using that feature. The table could also be useful for someone who is bed-bound for their meals and other things, a cheaper alternative to a hospital-style bed table and less bulky as it does fold flat for storage when not being used.

This is an excellent table which I needed for Scholarly Study of Islam. Anyone who likes to sit on the floor instead of at a desk will love this because the table height is perfect for a person sitting on the floor. It also acts like an excellent Laptop table and has 2 fan shaped holes carved into it which should assist in Laptop cooling. Also to mention is the width of the table. Beware of other tables as they might not be wide enough as required (meaning no space to put a mouse next to a Laptop!), but this one is excellent. It has a tiny drawer fitted into the right side for small items to be kept. It also has the benefit of having a tilting middle table section which also comes with a stopper for the end to stop books/laptop sliding off. This definately helps when reading a book! The only thing I would warn against is thinking to use this on a bed as I didn't find it very stable so be careful of that when purchasing. Overall an excellent table with very quality polished and glossed wood finish. Worth every penny!

I was unlucky enough to have an accident in my own home in May 2020, and following almost a week in Hospital, I ordered this item to use for my laptop in bed, so that I could communicate with the outside world. Such a small item yet it gave me so much access with the help of my laptop, to order shopping, and items from Amazon meaning I could continue my Shielding and staying safe. Being Left-handed can also cause a problem with some items, but this is perfect for left or right handed. It also arrived next day. The venting holes in the centre mean my laptop is getting plenty of air so that it does not overheat, whilst the rest at the front ensures that you don't end up being smacked in the face with laptop. Should I have the need, I would buy exactly the same item, but this is very sturdy and I can't see me needing another any time soon. Even if you just wish to read a book this is also great, as it holds the book in place to save any strain on your arms and shoulders. It certainly has made me a happy bunny, and I will just add that I am over the age of 60, so you will always get the truth from me.

Overall this is a very good product. Made from well finished wood with both an adjustable laptop support and a small drawer for nicknacks. I like the fact that the height of the unit can be adjusted too, making it useful in bed and/or sitting in a chair. However, this is also my area of concern in that the leg adjustment is simply piece of wood with an elongated hole in it's centre allowing it to slide, and held in place by a simple wing nut. My wife has rheumatism and simply cannot tighten the wingnuts sufficiently to hold it in place and, If I do it for her, she then cannot release the nuts to enable the legs to be folded up. This would be an area of manufacture that would be easy to improve upon by the replacing of the wingnuts with a simple 'over-centre' lever which most users would find easier to operate. Still worthy of a 4 star rating and, if they change the height adjusting design, a 5.
