It's not super bright, and it may be not a great fit for an e-book of A4 format, or an e-book with a very glossy surface. I'm using it with my Remarkable to read books, and I'm very happy. I'm sure it'll work well with the normal sized books as well. It allows to cycle between yellow-redish light, white light, and in-between (the one I use the most). I'm using it about 4 hours every evening – and I battery holds well.

This is simply a brilliant reading light. It's very adjustable with brightness and various angles. It's very clever in that it doesn't use any of the blue light frequency that disturbs your sleep process. Just one thing to add, maybe it could be more travel friendly if it folded up for more protection. However this light is simply great. Stop looking and get this one.

This is a great little reading light. More than bright enough to read with and doesn’t upset my husband as can be directed into the book with minimal light pollution to the sides. It is fairly lightweight and I have used it with ease fir both paperback and hardback books. Clip is slightly chunky but not bothersome and it remains steadfast without slipping. Not so keen on the red light option but the other 2 light modes are both great. Lasts for a good few weeks of bedtime reading without requirement for recharge. Would definitely recommend!

¿LUZ DE LECTURA? Imposible. La medición a sólo 10 cm del foco de luz es de 220 lux a máxima potencia en la luz roja, parece una broma. Lo mínimo para no producir cansancio ni daño ocular son 500 lux. Las dos opciones de luz ámbar son algo más potentes, pero para mis ojos chillonas y molestas. No es el ámbar que imita a luz de vela que esperaba. Si lo que buscas es una luz pequeñita, muy pequeñita en realidad, para encenderla por las noches si te tienes que levantar y no desvelarte, creo que funcionará muy bien. Además, la pinza es potente y parece robusta. A pesar de que el anuncio especifica claramente que es una luz de lectura cuando no es el caso, para devolverla, me encuentro con la sorpresa que ya empieza a ser habitualde que tengo que pagar yo los gastos de envío y mandarla a otro país. Comparada con una luz equivalente comprada aquí en Amazon de “marca blanca” no veo diferencias que justifiquen pagar casi cuatro veces más. Quería que me gustara porque me gusta esta marca y soy muy fan de la terapia de luz roja, pero no ha podido ser.

This is the best little reading light! I've purchased one for myself and two as gifts. I love that you can make it red, since I read before sleep, and red is less apt to keep you awake and better for your circadian rhythm. It's rechargeable and the charge lasts a long time. Clips securely on your book and easily bends to where you want the light to shine. The one I bought myself, I've had for a couple years and it's holding up well. If it quits I'll definitely buy another!
