This isn't bulky, so it fits well over everything but the thickest jumpers and switches, being warm enough thanks to the fleece to mean you don't need very thick tops underneath to avoid the cold on a crisp winter's day. The outer surprised me because of how quiet it is, so no annoying rustling while you're moving, and effortlessly cuts out wind and all but the heaviest rain. With a fleece lined hood, it's going to keep your entire body, including head and neck, warm and dry from the autumn to the spring. The pockets have a similar fleece lining to the rest of the jacket, so perfect for keeping your hands warm and means you don't necessarily need gloves with you. Although there isn't a chest pocket, the way the pockets are stitched means they are big enough for your hands and phone/small wallet, and they basically make inside pockets between them and the lining, so a triumph of German design. The understated design, including a subtle logo, means it is smart enough to wear on just about every occasion with the exception of those which would require a dress coat, and black goes with just about everything! Because of the fleece, it's not as easy to pull on as a smooth, polyester-lined insulated coat when you're in a rush, particularly if you are wearing a fleece already, but it is worth the effort and very comfortable. Size-wise, I am so 6 feet tall with a relatively slim build and bought the 40-42, which has served me well because anything bigger would be too baggy, and anything smaller would be too tight. I'm very pleased by how long it is in the body as it doesn't ruck up above my trousers, nor is it ridiculously long.

Unlike most jackets the hood on this has a very snug fit which is great. Very well made, warm and has classy too.

Having tried several softshell jackets by various outdoor brands, this is definitely my favourite. No fancy pockets on the arms, no flashy reflective panels, no homing beacon sewn into the collar…. The cut of this jacket means that there isn’t huge amounts of baggy material under your arms and it’s long enough to protect whatever is in your pockets (if you’re wearing jeans). Quality fabrics with a superior micro fleece throughout including the pockets. Functional hood which sits nicely behind the neck when not in use. This is a really considered design. 44-46” chest? Get the XL.

Light weight, wind and water proof and surprisingly warm

Mittelpreisige Jacke. Preis-Leistung top. Gute Verarbeitung. Macht genau was es soll. Reißverschluss leichtgängig und von guter Qualität. Fängt mit der Zeit (über die Jahre) am Saum an zu Fusseln - Kragen und Ende der Ärmel. Finde ich für die erwartete Abnutzung überhaupt nicht schlimm. Hält Wind und Wetter draußen. Gute dünne Übergangsjacke, aber nicht wirklich gefuttert. Atmungsaktivität erwartungsgemäß niedrig - aber dafür ist sie auch nicht gemacht. Wenn man nicht gerade den Berg hoch wandert, oder Sport macht (= schwitzt) bleibt alles angenehm.

İçi ince polarlı,hafif ama son derece sıcak tutan çok iyi bir outdoor ceket. İstanbul soğuğunda bile içine kazak giyerseniz rahatlıkla tüm kışı geçirirsiniz. İzmir ve Antalya kışı için de çok iyi korur. Rüzgarı her türlü önlediği gibi orta şiddette sağanak yağmura da dayanıklı.

Seit Jahren ärgere ich mich darüber, keine gescheite Übergangsjacke für stürmische Tage zu haben. Bei diesem Modell habe ich dann aber zugeschlagen, da ich mit den Rucksäcken der Marke ganz gute Erfahrungen habe. Nach mehreren Wochen im Einsatz kann ich festhalten: Die Jacke hält, was sie verspricht. Das Material ist angenehm, stinkt nicht und ist wie beschrieben wasserabweisend. Auch kann der der Wind stürmisch sein, man merk nichts durch die Jacke hindurch. Und das , obwohl die Jacke wirklich sehr dünn ist! Sollten die Temperaturen jedoch zu niedrig sein, dann ist die Jacke leider zu dünn. Ansonsten ein gutes Produkt , welches ein angemessenes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hat. LG
