These are well made easy to assemble planters. After reading other reviews, I ordered 4 of these as we are making some changes to our yard and wanted planters like these. I don't understand how some people had and issue assembling these because, like another reviewer, I assembled them in less than 5 minutes each. When put together they are pretty sturdy and look good. Be aware that they have a fairly open bottom so aren't suitable for filling with dirt or small rocks, but if using some kind of artificial planter filler, they are fine.

Nice looking planter, a little difficult to put together, but once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty smoothly. No tools needed. Just be aware that the planter is just a stand. The bottom is completely open so it will not hold soil without a container inside. I think for the price I paid I got a good deal. BUT putting it together correctly is impossible. Putting the 4 sides together works for the first 3 sides, but the 4th side will not fit in the 'grooves'. This instructions say this step is not necessary, so they must be aware of this flaw. Because the top square piece fits over the top of the sides, it is usable. Just be careful when picking it up not to pick it up from the top or it will fall apart. With that said, when it went on sale again, I bought another one. I like the size and the style. Once I have it located on my deck, I won't be moving it anyway.

This planter looks very nice. Sturdy plastic but if you're in a cold zone I'd definitely bring it in as plastic will crack. Easy to snap together. If no instructions came with it just make sure you only snap 3 sides then slide the bottom in before snapping the 4th side on. No tools needed just smack together with your palms. Smack the tip on, flip it over and smack the support piece on. 5 minutes is all it took. I ordered 1 just to see how it was, now ordering another

Impossible to assemble! I have all but destroyed my hands working on this. I was finally able to get 3 of the 4 sides together. An extremely difficult task. I spent a couple of hours working on it. The final side: An extra hour to get one edge attached. A half hour later, I gave up. I made sure the bottom was in good, then was able to get the top edge on it. I noticed the instructions showing installing the fourth side says: (OPTIONAL). IT SHOULD SAY IMPOSSIBLE! Maybe if I had a second person to help? But I don't. I hope my hands recover. I bought this to hold my artificial and very light tree so I can have it on my deck. I put too much effort into this to rebox and return it. Maybe I could use duct tape to hold it together? Sturdiness? I have to laugh at that. I just hope a light breeze doesn't send it flying! By the way, I have put together all kinds of furniture, etc. and never had anything that I claimed to be impossible.

Pretty, but this isn't a planter pot as stated. There is no bottom to hold in soil. The description should say, a planter for your pot. When I read planter pot, I'm thinking a large pot to transfer my plant into! Now I need to find a liner for this bottomless box. Again, it is pretty & is very easy to put together.

Wasn’t fun trying to snap this thing together, but have a little patience you can do it. It looks really nice once it’s put together. I don’t think that you could put an actual plant with soil in it, but I do think that you can put a planter inside of this planter and it would look very attractive The material is thick. It is very sturdy. The quality is quite well plenty of drainage and the design is I like it I’m not gonna say I don’t like it. I like it.

I’m very impressed with these planters! They seem well made and like they will do a great job at adding curb appeal by my front door and containing my seasonal annual flowers. I did use grow bags to place inside for the flowers. The planters were kind of tough to put together for a middle aged woman but my son got them slapped together pretty quick on his own. I just got these but I am confident they will last a few years.
