I have used one of these units for about 5 years., worked perfectly until I accidently drowned it. So I purchased another one. :)It records daily steps, calories. and total steps walked, also has an accurate clock too. It can be used with a belt clip; but amazingly , even just putting it in your pocket, it still works well recording steps. Only thing is, that it may not record the first few steps you make (in the house) for example. But once you start walking outside the unit catches up with the steps you took, and from then on is fairly accurate. Once you read the instructions , then its easy to set up; in fact the instruction booklet is nice and clear, with readable text. So many of these products have poor, small instructions, which are hard to read; Not the case here. Very easy to read. For me, this is probably the best pedometer I have found at its price point, and if you look after it, could last you a long time, just don't drop it in the water like I did. Highly recommended.

Colour : pinkI have purchased exercise things before but never a pedometer, I have used cheap ones before that I received for free but they were always rubbish. I recently decided to try to get fitter, and to do this by upping my daily steps, each day to assist with weight loss a d to feel healthy so, into the deep dark murky world of "pedometer I ventured. I wanted one that was accurate and didnt require blue tooth. Of the many hundreds of different one available I settled for this one simply due to the many excellent reviews and the cheapish price point.I didn't want to wish to spend a fortune on an item I might give up on. The Reviews looked really good and the functions seemed basic and plenty enough it also sounded easy enough to set up. It arrived on the due day as it was bought with Amazon prime . Set up was actually really really simple even just by using the supplied simple to follow instructions, the hardest part was measuring my stride so just used info in the book supplied and that bit was easy. So it is on, one day in, and am both amazed how many steps I actually do, I do a lot more then I thought i do. this device is to use, and very accurate. Excellent item realalt. Would definitely buy again. Only negative is lost belt clip on first day of use as it's far to lose, so please use lanyard supplied

Fantastic little device, but one BIG fault--the belt clip is not very secure! Just going to do this review and found my counter is missing. Have searched house/garden/garage--nowhere to be seen: it must have pinged off the waist of my jeans when out walking. Infuriating! I shall have to buy another!When set up it is very easy. Auto re-counts each day. Keeps your steps/distance walked/calories (steps/distance are reasonably accurate, not sure about calories).

I have been using the pedometer for the past 11 months and have found it to be excellent. I love walking and rambling, but prior to this had never owned a pedometer of any sort, so don't have pervious experiences to compare to. For the initial set-up, I didn't find the booklet useful - however, the video was clear and easy to follow and set-up didn't take very long. The most time-consuming part was setting my stride length, and even that didn't take long to do.The step count is accurate when the pedometer is in a pocket, clipped on, or in a bag. The strap was immediately discarded as it was swinging the pedometer every time I walked and gave very inaccurate readings.I really appreciate the old school vibe of the pedometer. It has a limited number of functions that work very well. If you are after something snazzy with lots of features, I would give this pedometer a miss. If you are simply interested in your step count, I would highly recommend.The only negative aspect for me is that sometimes steps are slow to be counted if I am moving from a stationary position and if there is a lot of stopping and starting, there will be a slight undercount of steps.Purchasing a pedometer has had an incredibly positive impact on me - regardless of brand I think everyone should invest in one!

I purchased this pedometer based on price and the majority of 4/5 star reviews. On arrival, I looked at the online set-up video and downloaded the instruction manual.So, far neither I nor someone else who is far more 'technical' than me, have to been able to set it up. The instructions are reasonably easy to understand and we persevered, but however hard we tried it was impossible to even access the first stage. It just will not work. Such a shame as it's good value, compact and would have been easy to wear either using the clip or lanyard.Perhaps as another reviewer said, I should have asked a 12 year old to do it for me.I will be returning for a refund. Very disapppointed.Since I posted my review, the seller forwarded further instructions for set-up and has tried to assist me. Nevertheless, despite numerous attempts to do so, by myself and another person, it just will not work. I wonder if unfortunately the one I have is merely faulty. Although not very technically adept, I can do most things, but the set-up procedure on this item has completely stumped me.The seller has kindly refunded purchase price, without me having to return the item, which has now been discarded.I cannot give 4 or 5 star review as I don't how it would have worked, even if I could have managed to set it up. However I can't fault the helpful and friendly service from the seller, albeit to no avail. I would give 5* to the seller if permitted.
