I needed to transfer designs from paper to less-than-smooth timber and carbon paper is the obvious medium to achieve this. I didn't have high expectations for Stephens Carbon Paper, given it's low price, but I am more-than pleased with the results. The designs have been transferred to the timber with remarkable quality, especially considering the roughness of the timber surface. One small point worth noting is that I used a 'one sheet of carbon paper per transfer' regime because it doesn't look like a design would copy more than once unless the carbon paper was repositioned: at the low price of Stephens Carbon Paper, this was not a problem as the used sheets are stored away for future, different designs.

Delivery was fine but product is ok except there is nothing to indicate correct side. Be careful that you check you have it the right side down.

I used the copy carbon for tracing out a drawing on a panel on my canal boat and then painted in my creation which was a little like painting by numbers, it made a big job easy. Thank you, Stephens.
