Call of Duty: Ghosts - Hardened Edition (PS3)

Here's the thing, I don't get why everyone is complaining. The developers have actually listened to people and made a completely new CoD game. I;m about halfway through the campaign and have yet to try multiplayer and so far it is amazing. The graphics are beautiful, the storyline is absorbing, and the gameplay overall is fantastic. People complain that it is too different, yet they would've complained if another Modern Warfare had been brought out. You just cannot please some people. Of course it is going to be different controls. It's a different game. You get used to it. So I say stop moaning about little things. it's stupid. And there is also the new DLC that will contain new maps to come out through the year which I am sure will contain smaller maps for multiplayer so stop getting your knickers in a twist. I am also yet to try squads but that looks like something new and exciting and I am just as eager to try it out as I am extinction and multiplayer. (I try to complete campaign before anything else, it's my thing) I pre-ordered the hardened edition. I would have got it on release day but royal mail are stupid and just put it through to the depot so I had to get it the day after. The paracord strap you get with it is cool and fun and looks great when you wear it. The steel book is great. It also comes with the season pass which is great value. I haven't yet listened to the soundtrack but I am sure it will be great because the music from CoD is always great to listen to. The missions in campaign mode are amazing. they bring you right into the game which is what they are supposed to do. I can't wait to finish it and I think it is one of those campaign modes that I will go back and play again which is something I very rarely do. I am also still to try out extinction but having watched different youtubers play it I am sure it will be fantastic. A nice break from Zombies which I found to be getting a little tiresome. Overall, this game is magnificent. I am happy I purchased the game, unlike most people out there who moan because the developers listened to them and made a different game with a different feel to it in order to keep things fresh and new. I say well done and I can't wait to get stuck in to all the game modes. Got a good few hours to spend on this game and I doubt I will regret any of it.

So far have been just playing the multiplayer and it is really fun, it does feel a bit odd to begin with as it play's differently to black ops 2. The game play has been smooth so far with some really nice touches to weapons. The new way of purchasing weapons rather than getting them at set lvl's is a nice touch. Now for the bad the game was ordered by me on the 21st of September, with a guaranteed November the 5th delivery date, on Sunday the 3rd i noticed that the game still hadn't been dispatched so contacted amazon was told that you will definitely get on the 5th, i pointed out that if it was still coming by royal mail first class then i wouldn't be receiving it on the 5th, at this point the cs agent said don't worry will make sure a courier will be delivering. on Monday the 4th i contacted again as still not dispatched and it was saying going to be delivered first class by royal mail. again i was promised that it would be here on the 5th. on Tuesday the 5th still no game so spoke to the postman who said sorry that's it for delivery's today, contacted cs who first of all hung up on me, then got through to a cs agent that stated that the postman was wrong and would definitely be receiving before 4pm on a separate delivery. 4pm came and nothing contacted a cs manager who just said sorry not our problem it's with royal mail and you will get it at some point. So the moral is if you want a game delivered on launch day do not order from amazon as they send it out late/ use a non guaranteed delivery service and then really don't care if it doesn't arrive on time.

I've just bought this game for PS3 ahead of buying my PS4. Can anyone tell me a) how much it costs for the Digital Upgrade and b) whether there's any difference between the Upgrade version and the retail version. If not, it's surely a no brainer to follow this process rather than forking out over £80 for the standalone edition, which isn't backwards compatible. Great game all the same, not the best in the series but still 5*!

For only £10 more than the standard game, you can get this edition which includes the season pass. Not a fan of Ghosts, but it is just a game you have to buy and try! Extinction is the game mode for me, love it or hate it! Give it a go.

Beginning to wonder if COD is running out of ideas and the franchise is coming to an end. The story line is quite easy but what most pepole buy this for is online. To be honest I have been disappointed by online, the killstreaks are not the greatest and the way to go about it are not well thought out either, plus the amount of "camping" that goes on spoils it. Always hoped they would do something to combat this. The maps are ok nothing great but credit where credits due, I do like the refresh button to change your in-game challenges for online. Im beginning to think this could be my last COD because battlefield looks every bit as good and with a great online package with vehicles etc it will not bore, if only they could sort out thier servers then I think it will be the future war game we will all be playing. But as a COD faithful since day 1 i hold a glimour of hope the franchise start to step up their game and stop being lazy knowing that everyone buys it no matter what.

I have been a COD fan since COD4 Modern Warfare and have purchased even game since normally reaching max prestige. This time round the game has caused me nothing but frustration on multiplayer mode. It has been overhauled with elements from black ops and MW. It just doesnt have the same feel to it gameplay and graphics wise. I giving it 2 stars because I enjoyed Alien mode, but finished it with all titles within a week. More map packs will hopefully give it more life but aside from that I doubt I will be playing this online.

Il gioco e arrivato perfettamente ,ancora ora ci sono un sacco di persone che ci giocano su ps3 nel 2024(il gioco e in Italiano).

Il Gioco in se non si discute: troverete molte recensioni a tal riguardo. Vi dirò le mie impressioni avendolo acquistato per ps3 ma solitamente gioco per ps4 da un amico. Graficamente sono 2 mondi molto diversi, questo mi ha deluso un poco, ma obbiettivamente chi dice che la differenza non è sostanziale sbaglia di grosso. La ps4 da una grafica migliore ma non solo, il pad della ps4 è più preciso, ciò è dovuto dall' impugnatura più ergonomica e dalla ridefinizione dei pulsanti che aumentano il grip e la precisione. Il prezzo è molto competitivo per ciò che offre: Gioco+season pass dlc per tutte le espansioni+ bonus map free fall+ bonus per scaricare a 10€ la versione per ps4 + bonus soundtrack. 2 note negative: Subito dopo il mio acquisto il prezzo è sceso di 9€... Un giorno di ritardo sulla data di ultima consegna...
