Good motor strength, easy calibration and balancing process, feels well built
Im using nikon z50 with standard kit lens and this gimbal works perfectly with it. Very stable, good motor strength, easy calibration process and easy to balance. The only thing i don't like about the gimbal is the mount that you attach at the bottom of the camera. Nikon z50 has a display that flips and in order for you to put the mount, the little bit of plastic that keeps the mount straight goes under the screen of camera so you cant close the screen properly. It is a bit ajar. though you can buy a cheap camera mount compatible with the gimbal and this resolves the issue Otherwise very happy with the purchase. Its not light as you might think (because its mini) but definitely not heavy. I found the product a bit expensive but You get what you pay for as I bought another gimbal over this initially as it was half the price of dji gimbal but I returned it as not serving its purpose and it feels very flimsy. So I bought the dji rs3 mini and returned the other one. Im now very happy with my set-up.

Great little gimbal to get started on the journey
I'm new to all this so didn't want to dive too deep. This came up on offer and I'm very pleased with it. A few funny looks from the neighbours as I ran around the front garden testing it. The DJI phone app isn't on the Google Play store so you have to install it separately (the registration process tells you what you need to do) but it doesn't "feel" right. The app works well and I haven't had my bank accounts emptied so all seems ok. I found the initial calibration a mite confusing but the old YouTube came to my rescue when the DJI Manual left me confused. I have a Panasonic Lumix so it doesn't offer bluetooth support for controlling my camera but I has able to plug in via USB. Downside of that is I can no longer use the camera USB port for e.g. USB NVMI drive but what would modern life be like without compatibility issues.. That said, for the way I'm currently using the gimbal I don't bother with any of this. The only problem I had was that initially the RS3 Mini would not charge past 20%. I cannot really explain why but I only found one of my thousand USB adapters would charge it (despite saying they were charging) which really doesn't make any sense so I'm a little uneasy about that.

Excellent gimbal but a bit pricey
The DJI RS 3 Mini is an outstanding piece of equipment that has greatly enhanced my videography work. It's incredibly lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around on long shoots. The gimbal's stabilizing capabilities are remarkable, providing smooth and steady footage even in challenging shooting conditions. The controls are user-friendly, and the overall build quality is exceptional. The DJI RS 3 Mini is an excellent investment for any professional or aspiring videographer looking to take their work to the next level. Highly recommend!

Compact and powerful
Perfect for travel or quick steps and the stabilization is impressive for its size. This is lightweigh, easy to balance and made handheld shioting so smooth. Using with SONY A7III and 50mm lens.

9/10
Camera bar a bit high so the camera sits high that makes it time consuming to balance. Having said that it’s good. I have fuji the xt3 works with the final button but my hx2 for some reason doesn’t

I am extremely disappointed with the DJI RS3 Mini gimbal.
I am extremely disappointed with the DJI RS3 Mini gimbal. I purchased it at the beginning of September 2023 and have only used it twice, but on the second use, the motors stopped working. Tried to update the firmware but the screen froze in process. I have tried to troubleshoot the problem, but nothing has worked. I am very frustrated and disappointed. In addition to the above, I also had problems calibrating the gimbal with my Sony 24-70 f2.8 lens. The camera and lens were too heavy for the gimbal to calibrate properly, so I was only able to use it with smaller and lighter Zeiss Batis (85mm f1.8). Overall, I am very unhappy with the DJI RS3 Mini gimbal. I'm sure DJI does good gimbals in the higher price brackets but the fact, that it couldn't handle the weight and size of my set up initially, and then it came up the unit was faulty, my only conclusion is, that the RS3 mini is not worth the money. I would not recommend it.

Decent travel size but makes you miss newer features
Pros: - small and lightweight cons: - misses lots of features from the RS4 (replaceable battery, easier balancing, buttons and Ui)

Great features
It's a lovely light gimble, works well with my R50 and a reasonable lens on it. Paired to the app it has more features than I knew about, the pre programmed tracking is a great feature for capturing a landscape in video, and the time lapse is very clever too. Built really solidly but easy to pack and not too big or heavy to have with you all the time.
