Nice clock but wifi sync was an issue
I really like this clock but I had a lot of trouble setting it up. First - if you leave the batteries in the clock it retains the factory set time and will not beep like it’s supposed to when you hold the 2 buttons when plugging it in. Turns out it doesn’t need to beep. As long as the wifi network appears on your phone. (If you want to hear the beep - remove the batteries and reinstall them). Then, I could not get my clock to connect to wifi. I tried many times with many devices - an iPhone, an iPad, and my desktop. It always said success but never connected. I replaced the clock but had the same exact issue which got me thinking - maybe it’s something to do with my network. After a lot of experimentation I finally figured it out. My wifi password has blank spaces in it. Apparently the clock or the interface to set the wifi info in the clock does not support blanks in the wifi password. I created a guest network on my router and gave it a password with no blanks and it worked instantly. I wish I had gotten the version with a different color for the time and date stuff. Mine is all blue and it’s not super easy to pick out the time when you glance at it.

Excellent clock and features. Lacks customer service.
The clock functionality and ease of use is excellent. The fact it syncs via WiFi/internet to remain accurate makes things so easy, and having the remote to make adjustments without removing it from the wall is convenient. I have only two negatives to note: 1) The brightness of the blue lights has dimmed a bit over my two years of use. When viewed at an angle particularly, they aren't quite as crisp and as solid as would be ideal. Not bad, but not great. 2) The documentation provides an email address for customer service but when I emailed them regarding the power adapter blowing, I didn't receive a response. Given that it's a reasonably prices unit, I wouldn't expect superb service or warranty, but I would expect at least a response.

Finally!
I have an irrational fascination for inexpensive, yet super-accurate clocks. I have been searching for a consumer-grade *WiFi* clock for about ten years and was shocked when this one popped up, finally. You've already read about how big, bright, and handsome it is so I'll skip all that.I have been trying to figure out how this actually works. I assumed it used "NTP" a protocol your PC uses to fetch the current time from another computer on the internet. I used Wireshark to sniff the traffic for this unit but never found any NTP packets. Someone in another review said that it actually just uses the timestamps on packets it receives on the WiFi connection, but I am skeptical. If anyone knows for sure, please leave a comment. Regardless, it's reliably getting the time and is bang-on accurate to the second.Set up was a little challenging and is the cause for most of the poor reviews. It requires using your cell phone and connecting directly to the clock's built-in web server to share your home's WiFi SSD and password. Pro tip: the server is always running (you'll need a network scanner to find the IP address) and offers a way to change the time zone and (get this) to upload some kind of update to the clock, should that ever become available.I could not be more pleased! I hope the manufacturer (Maoming Yongyao Clock) releases more products like this. It truly is a one-of-a-kind product on Amazon. My next quest is to find a GPS-trained, affordable, consumer-grade clock!

Keeps perfect time all the time
I bought 2 of them. I've had them for almost a year now. It was a little tricky to hook up to the WiFi, but once I got it hooked up, didn't have to worry about them again. Even in a power outage. Once the power came back on, they automatically adjusted to the right time.

Difficulty connecting clock to Wi-Fi.
This clock would not connect to Wi-Fi as advertised. Connecting with your smartphone and going to the local IP address, you can type in your real password or any password and it will come back with the word "success" and not connect to your home network. If you care about Wi-Fi accuracy, then this item is not for you. If you don't care for the Wi-Fi connection, then you may consider this product.

Great Wifi Clock
The wifi setup is trivial, took maybe 2 minutes, and time immediately synchronized after connecting. Reconnecting was quick when I tested by unplugging/replugging it.The included mounting hole template is much appreciated. The displayed temperature seems to run warm by a few degrees Fahrenheit; it's currently showing 66F vs known accurate 64F, even though the devices are right next to each other.Auto-dimming works well and the display is clear and easy to read. The remote had a pair of AAA batteries in it, individually wrapped in plastic. Make sure you take them out and unwrap them.I do wish there was some customization (displaying seconds instead of day, for example), but that was all a known quantity when I ordered. Overall, really happy with it. Probably going to get another one for the garage.

Faled to sync time after 4 months
This is a nice clock for size, brightness and readability. However the WiFi sync to keep time accurate failed after 3.5 months, and I'm unable to get it to work. If you reset the settings, it connects to the network, but does not sync time correctly. It still works as a clock, and will be off about a minute or two after 3-4 months. But don't depend on the synchronization to NTP time, as that is its weak point.
