Perfect for what I needed it for. I applied a strip of Velcro to the back and it sits perfectly on top of the hump in the backseat of my 2013 Nissan Rouge. Not huge but suits our needs of snack and straw wrappers. If we have fast food bags I take them to the trash as soon as I stop again.

I love the size, design, color choice and shape of this car basket HOWEVER despite the little spikes on the bottom of the curved surface, it still tips over in the car very easily. I would suggest a false weighted bottom which I thought this design might include. I would suggest this product only if you have a secure area to place it in the car. I do enjoy the curved bottom but not enough to overcome the tipping issue.

The Company does NOT include all of the required parts! PAY ATTENTION to the 1-star reviews and CONSIDER using an empty 1-gal. paint can instead, because it would be more stable than this trash can. Everything Aftermarket no longer includes the MUCH-NEEDED snap-in-place false bottom that contains the sand (customer-supplied!) needed to render this trash can functional. I know this because I still have my original. It is IDENTICAL in every detail, to include the visible retention lines on the inside for the snap-in-place false bottom. SAME dimensions, shape, texture, material, etc., except for the MISSING PART. I must assume that the manufacturer and/or distributor no longer have the injection mold used to make it and don't care to replace it because, at $15/unit (an inflated price point without all of the parts!), they don't need ALL of their customers to be satisfied. If only 60% of us are happy, then so is the Company and its owners.

Arrived quickly as promised, item was as described, it fits my space about as well as I thought it might, but not as well as I'd hoped

I got this for my daughters new Volvo. It fits perfectly in the back by the console, between seats. These are really hard to find in stores. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, because I have the same one except it has a false bottom with a small sandbag in it. Although she doesn't need it for this car due to the snug fit, it would still be nice. This can is WAY better than the cloth types available in stores. Great price too!

We've had a couple of these litter baskets in our cars (and minivan when we had one) for years. They're not sold in any stores that I could find so I was delighted when I saw this online. My husband had given up his to our son when he started driving our old car and I hadn't been able to find a new one. I ordered two -- one for my husband and one for dad (a Father's Day gift). They last for years (the one in our old car still had its original Rubberqueen label so I knew I was getting a product that would really last). It's small and hard plastic so it's easy to wipe out. The only catch is that your car has to have a 'hump' on the floor in order for the basket's contoured bottom to sit properly. Luckily all our cars have that so we are good to go.

We bought this for hubby's car. I have one just like it in my car for years - different brand, otherwise they're exactly alike. It stays put in my car but not his. I can't put it on the hump in the back seat because it falls off. It does stay ok right next to the hump though.. I keep it lined with a small plastic bag. It's out of the way most of the time, although if there are two people in the back (rare - usually only one), then it'll get in the way of the feet.

When I received this, I almost returned it. It is sturdy but EXTREMELY tiny. I'm not certain that it is useful. I did check the dimensions prior to ordering, but was not expecting this. Decided to keep it and use it in one of the cars that doesn't accumulate much trash. I will update the rating if I find it to be more useful. Adding a small trash liner to it was easy and will keep it looking nice.

it can easily tip over despite the spikes in the bottom. will need to stick on some Velcro to keep it staying put!
