Dylon Machine Dye Pod, Intense Black, 350G

Household stuff is not my forte so I was apprehensive about dying a piece of clothing. But I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I had two pair of women's shorts, worn once. Liked the clothing but didn't like the colour (a dovey-mossy-grey). I dyed both black together and the depth of colour is great. My only feedback for the product team is the instructions aren't at all clear. Put the pod into the machine without removing the packaging. What does that mean? Don't peel away the plastic wrapper, or do? Don't peel back the foil that covers the opening, or do? Really bad instructions. I took my chances (removed the wrapper and peeled back the foil) but that was technically in opposition to the instructions.

I bought this to try as I had a pair of my favourite black jeans & a black top that had gotten marked by hair bleach when I was having my hair done & had left orangy/red colour marks over them. I wanted to give this a try before then having to reluctantly throw them away. I used 1 whole pod for 3 pairs of skinny jeans & jeggings, a vest type top and a bra. The hair bleach marks over the jeans & top have gone and all the clothes have been given a fresh lease of life going back to being black again (& not faded). I followed it as per instructions and it was a simple process (just takes a while doing multiple washes - 1 to prewash the clothes, 1 to dye the clothes, 1 to wash the clothes again after & then 1 with an empty drum to wash out the machine). But for the amount of clothes it has revived (5 pieces) it is worth the price as far cheaper than buying all of those items new again.

Always buy these easy t use and dyes good in black don’t know about the other colours I always use black

I've used this to dye faded black jeans and they came out jet black. I've also used them to dye a purple dress black and it looks great, cant tell I've dyed it! However I did put some pink knickers in by accident and they came out like a dark purple/ rust colour. But its super easy to use, just put it in the wash with the items!

I am very impressed with this product. It does as advertised. I regret not taking before and after photos to add here. I read some negative reviews beforehand but I bought it anyway as I had nothing to lose. I have bought my favourite pair of black jeans 3 times from the same store because every time they fade, I buy another pair. I was about to buy my 4th pair when I decided to try dying them instead as this would be a cheaper alternative. I followed the instructions exactly! Even though the recommended cycles took over 5 hours of washing time. But the results are phenomenal! I also threw in an old coat just to see what would happen. I now have 3 pairs of jeans which look brand new and a coat which I will definitely start wearing again. What a bargain! I must admit that I used less dye than recommended for the amount of clothing I put into the machine (1 pot for 3 pairs of jeans and a coat) but I only needed to brighten up the black colour, not change the colour and I got the results I wanted. I will definitely buy this product again!

Pro: easy and convenient to use with no mess. My washing machine was cleaned with no leftover dyes Cons: I got dark grey from black faded jeans not intense black.

This is a great product. I first ordered it (with little hope) to use on my partners black Paul Smith jeans which had faded badly to try save them as a last resort... well they came out like new! So impressed that I bought another and used on two pairs of my own black river island jeans which are notorious for fading quickly... extremely impressed- like new again! Just follow the instructions on the pack and the washing machine is fine ( which I was worried about). For black jeans this is the way forward! 5*****

Ich bin restlos begeistert! Mein altes, heiß geliebtes T-Shirt – schon jahrelang im Schrank, aber leider mit einigen unschönen Flecken – hat mit diesem Färbemittel ein echtes Revival erlebt. Die Farbe ist unglaublich intensiv, gleichmäßig und bringt genau das kräftige Ergebnis, das ich mir erhofft habe. Selbst die hartnäckigsten Flecken, die ich beim Waschen nicht mehr rausbekommen habe, sind nach der Färbung komplett unsichtbar. Es sieht tatsächlich aus wie ein neues Shirt! Die Anwendung war denkbar einfach. Ich musste nur den Farbbeutel zusammen mit Salz in die Waschmaschine legen und den Rest erledigte das Gerät. Kein aufwendiges Anrühren oder Herumkleckern – perfekt für alle, die auf eine unkomplizierte Lösung setzen. Die Farbe ist nicht nur gut deckend, sondern auch waschecht: Nach mehreren Wäschen bleibt sie genauso intensiv und satt, wie beim ersten Mal. Dieses Färbemittel ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp für alle, die alten Lieblingsstücken neuen Glanz verleihen wollen, ohne viel Geld für neue Kleidung auszugeben. Mein Shirt hat nun ein zweites Leben, und ich könnte nicht zufriedener sein!

livraison en avance par rapport au délai annoncé Avec 2 doses de cette teinture j'ai pu re-teindre en même temps 4 pantalons de type "chino" en taille 44. Le rendu est bon, bien uniforme et le noir est vraiment noir. A voir ds le temps si la teinture résiste bien... Ne pas oublier de faire un lavage à vide du lave-linge après l'opération de teinture! inconvénient les doses sont un peu chères.
