As a student, I found that a singular Apple Pencil battery will sometimes not last through the whole day. Even though the charge time is only about 15 minutes for a full charge, sometimes I do not have enough time to even stop and let my pencil charge.So, I went out on a whimb and I decided to try this to see if I could have 2 rotating Apple Pencils that I alternate using one while charging the other!This worked so great! It is small and compact, so its not difficult to fit inside my bag and it works exactly like the magnetic charger on my ipad, except it does not take away the ability to use another pencil. The charge time is about the same on both this product and the ipad.Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and when this one gets lost or broken, I 100% will be purchasing another one!

Works as expected

I buy that charger so I do not have to get my ipad out of the case to charge my apple pencil, but I still have to do it. EVERY time you use that charger it is gonna disconnect your pencil from you ripad and you have to pair it again. Sometime it wont even let you pair it again because it wont recognise your pencil so you have to reboot your ipad to reconnect the pencil. That charger is a pain to use, also the pencil get so hot I m affraid of what it is doing to my pencil battery. Definitly returning that charger.

The media could not be loaded. It worked great without having pencil covers. With covers, it keeps losing charging power like the attached video unlike their video in Instagram. I see some reviews said this product worked with covers on, so probably it depends on the cover you have. Just want to mention that it doesn’t work with every covers.

I wanted to be able to charge this without attaching it to an iPad. This little charger does the trick.

I got it for my Apple Pencil 2. The magnetic charger charges the pencil with a silicon sleeve on. I'm using an uppercase sleeve and it works fine. It won't work when I use the Kaweco grip since the material on the grip is too thick. Wish the cord could be longer and I would need a adapter to connect the USB hub since it is a type C connector.

I got this as a charging option for my Apple Pencil2 bc the cute silicone sleeve I got for my pencil means it is now too big to fit in my iPad case and removing the iPad everytime is inconvenient (the sleeve looks like a carrot so it has extra decorative stuff on the top that makes it too long and too fat to fit in the pencil slot)I want to note that the iPad DOES still charge my pencil thru the sleeve just fine, the sleeve just prevents it from charging inside the case bc it doesn't fit. However, THIS charger would NOT charge my pencil at all while it was in the sleeve, and removing the sleeve from the pencil is more work than removing the iPad from the case. If I'm removing the sleeve anyway, why not just charge normally the Apple-approved way and not risk this device damaging my pencil like some reviews mentioned?Overall, pretty useless. I did take the pencil out to test the charger in case I got a damaged one, but it connected just fine and charged normally (albeit slower) without the sleeve so I know the charger works, just not well enough for my purposes.I guess I'll just wait till Apple comes out with a similar solution, or find a different case with more accessible pencil area vs a fitted slot

I ordered this to charge my Apple Pencil and spare pencil. It works great! Charges a little slower than charging directly from the iPad, but I love having a separate charger that I can use while I’m holding onto my iPad or being able to charge both pencils at the same time. Your pencil sticks well to the charger with the internal magnets. It holds well, but also comes apart easily. Highly recommend this charger if you’re looking for one.
