I love how quickly this works. We have a good sized yard and 2 batteries. Between our mower and weed eater, it can really slow the process to wait for the standard charger to juice up the battery. This takes far less time. Very helpful. Probably 10 uses so far and working fine.

This product was advertised as being compatible with all Greenworks 40V batteries, but it is not! Product return in progress, and quite disappointed.

Fast charger.

I bought used and someone previously shipped them back the cheap standard charger in place of the rapid charger so I had to return that and reorder, but eventually got the correct charger at a decent price and it works great, charges a 5AH 40 volt battery in right around an hour vs around 3 hours on the standard charger. The cooling fan is a bit loud, but it does turn off after it is done charging, so that's not so bad. The fan is necessary to prevent damage to the battery when charging at the higher rate. This charger is definitely an improvement from the standard 2amp charger.

I bought aftermarket batteries for my Greenworks mower and this charger to charge them. The explanatory graphic about the signal lights is clear. The battery fits nicely. It makes a bit of a racket when charging but the noise stops when the battery is charged (the battery shown in the short video was already charged). The charger will charge a single, depleted (1/4 lights on) 40V, 6000mAh battery in less than an hour. I have only used it 3 times so far.
