Specimen Aural Tests, Grades 4 & 5: new edition from 2011

This is a good book for preparing students for the aural tests. My daughter is prepping for her grade 4 exam and hopefully will improve on her grade after studying this.

As I am an adult and was entering myself into this exam, I found this book and its CD essential. I had no one else to tell me what I needed to do and to practice with. It was invaluable.

This is an extremely helpful guide to prepare the student for the exam. My children think this is, possibly the worst part of the exam and the book and cds give an accurate representation to prepare you for what to expect. Great that it covers two grades, so it's value for money!

Bought this for my daughters grade 4 flute and grade 5 piano exams. Lots of useful exercises on the whole. Only downside were the rhythmic and melody listening tests for grade 5.They were too easy and not representative of the actual exam which were bars longer and more difficult. So you might get a false sense of security. The App download was more like the real thing from our experience.

I bought this book to help my daughter with grade 4 piano. Having the CDs are wonderful and I wish they'd been available when I was a girl doing piano exams! The CDs are very clear and perfect to do a test a day until the exam arrives. Highly recommended.

This is a great book for preparing students for the aural tests. My piano student was able to do all the tests and get full marks on her aurals in the exam. I didn't have to do much at my own piano if I didn't want to because it was all on the CDs.
