High quality HD blu ray discs.
Provide very good picture. I have an ultra HD blu ray player and a massive 85" ultra HD 8K TV linked up to a surround sound soundbar system. The HD picture quality is superb; better than streaming & sound quality is awesome (yes I get FULL surround sound). Added bonus, comes with the Animatrix which I didn't realise at time of order AND it comes with "extras" discs. Very happy. Would thoroughly recommend to Matrix fans.

Sublime Matrix 4k collection on format which can't be matched by streaming services
You would think that having The Matrix and the subsequent sequels available from time to time on streaming services would rule out purchasing 4K bluray. Especially as I already have the Ultimate Matrix Collection on DVD However you would be wrong, especially in a growing climate of disappearing physical media. The Ultimate Matrix Collection 4K is worth every penny for the pristine 4K image, sublime HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. The streaming versions of these movies simply cannot match this 4K format as they are compressed to be delivered via your broadband ISP of choice even. In the collection, you get the Matrix Trilogy as well as the uprezzed version of the Animatrix as well as commentary and extras for all the movies. As a bonus, you also get The Matrix Resurrections in the collection. This is a film that I still need to rewatch to determine if it exists or not.

Take the blue pill
Love the Matrix. This film started me in a spiralling £14k debt when the DVD came out, as I bought a player too!!! But… remember this film wasn’t filmed in 4k, so the quality isn’t 4k and you’ll see the film grain. Worth the money though! Recommend
