An effective way to kill flies
I thought the product was somewhat expensive but that is my only negative comment. The pump worked fine and the flies I was trying to kill died shortly after I hit them. A few survived but were sufficiently stunned to allow me to swoop them up to kill them. I thought the odor was OK, nothing special or bad. If I had a similar swarm of flies I would use this product again.

Good product especially if you have pets.
Vote for my daughter's apartment when they had cockroaches the reason I bought it was because they have three cats. They saidv they were saying few to non cockroaches after a few weeks of use.

Great product!
I love this product and this company. The only reason I gave a 4/5 is because the bottle itself had an issue this time. The lid isn't staying securely screwed in place.

Say goodbye to those little pests!
This is, HANDS DOWN, the best! We live in FL and we HAVE BUGS HERE!Ants? Gone. Gnats? Bye. Roaches? HASTA LA VISTA BABY!We have a dog & cat and this is totally safe to use around them. (Peppermint is harmful to cats, we use the Rosemary/Lemongrass version on his cat tree). We also used it around our kids.We have been using Wondercide for more than a decade. We have used all the scents. One bottle lasts quite a long time. Good sprayer, from a fine mist to a bug zapping stream.

Fresh Scent, Powerful Bug Repellent
This peppermint bug spray is a natural and refreshing way to keep pests away. The scent is strong but pleasant, and it effectively repels ants, spiders, and other bugs without harsh chemicals. Great for indoor use and safe around kids and pets.

No Product is Perfect
Just as the title states, no product is perfect, especially when it comes to insects. I bought the peppermint insecticide for my apartment as an alternative to Raid. I live in a populated and woodsy area so insects entering into my apartment has been a daily affair -- a nuisance for someone who hates bugs. This spray helped control the ants in my home which was my biggest issue. The ants died instantly when sprayed and I stopped seeing them around after a week or so, though they're starting to make an appearance again a couple weeks later. I've also seen random dead bugs (e.g., beetles and centipedes) around my apartment when I wake up in the morning (yay!). However, spiders and fruit flies/gnats are seemingly impervious to this spray, despite spraying every corner, wall, floor space, door and crevice of my home, including furniture, for both control and maintenance -- a task that makes this product not very affordable but keeps the home smelling festive. Spiders do not die on impact, aren't repelled by the scent (e.g., I've had daddy longlegs build webs over areas that were freshly sprayed), and constantly reappear. It catches them off guard to be sprayed but it takes awhile for them to curl up and die. I actually decided to write this review after just taking down a web and re-spraying an area that I sprayed two days ago... after killing another spider of a different kind on that day. Gnats are being their typical annoying selves, nothing special. While I'm loving the ant-free, peppermint-scented space, I'd love a completely bug-free space even more, especially since I've spent over $60 on this product in the past month.Update: Now flied are starting to enter my home, which was not an issue before. Like the spiders, the flies are in recently sprayed areas. I wonder if the bugs build immunity over time.

Spiders will laugh at you
I used this on several spiders as I was cleaning up my back patio - they love to live on the underside of the outdoor furniture. I sprayed a few and, as they crawled away, I swear I heard one laugh, and say, “I’ll be back,” as it disappeared into the grass. I tried to crush it but now it will wait for me, and it will haunt my dreams. Then I found a brown widow inside a screw well in the bottom of a chair. Aha! I thought this time I would prevail. I had the spray. It was cornered. So I squirted it into the screw hole once and waited for it to drain. As soon as it did, the spider shifted around like I just gave it a mint julep. Totally fine. I sprayed it again, dowsing the inside of the hole and its terrifying little inhabitant. Then a third time. (Yes, I shook the bottle with vigor, accompanied by a sinister laugh, before each application).Alas, the spray was repeatedly unsuccessful in killing this or any spider. Any. I don’t eagerly seek them out but I started to look in crevices and plants just to keep testing the spray,Ultimately, I found that a heavy spray would stop the spider temporarily because it was too wet to walk so I could then crush it. Therefore, the spray is a spider timeout so you can play permanent freeze tag with it—if you’re quick and it can’t retreat.I sincerely appreciate this is meant to be a healthier, nontoxic way to rid your home of pests. I have pets and I care about not using toxic chemical around them, which is why I was very excited when I found this product. I’m very disappointed it doesn’t work. Instead, buy a good spray bottle, fill it with water and use that. It won’t smell as nice but it will have the same effect, and it will save you $30.
