This inexpensive little product works excellent and looks great! Clear vision with plenty wide of an angle. Very easy to install. Just make sure you sent it appropriately or it will look funny on your door. We had our handyman do it and there were no issues. He had it installed in less than 10 minutes, drill a hole and screw it together. It’s literally that easy!

The peep hole is built well and easy to screw into place with no unforeseen issues, which is nice for once. The hole saw that came with it was surprisingly nice quality!!! It was thick, sturdy, and went through my steel door with fiber core like a hot knife through butter!! I feel like I could drill tons of doors with this hole saw without issue, it is not flimsy or thin in any way. Now the instructions are underwhelming. They simply state something like "drill with bit on both side of the door separately" versus trying to go through the whole door... which is likely not possible with the short length of the bit and saw. I have never installed one so I started with a long drill bit to drill a pilot hole all the way through the door.... this was not a great approach because apparently I was good with up/down tilt but not on left/right tilt. I then drilled the holes on both side of the door with the whole saw and discovered my 2 seperate holes were NOT in alignment to allow the peep hole to be flush from both ends when installed. *****IMPORTANT - I then had to enlarge the hole on the OUTSIDE of the door. The outside exposed portion of the peep hole has a larger surface area so it can cover more hole enlargements and mess ups than the interior side of the door and peephole will allow. So fix from the outside, not from the inside! I was fortunate that I could make the whole big enough yet still able to be covered by the peep hole and no one will ever know unless they pull it off, phew. To do it all over again the fool proof method would be to simply measure from left right of the door and make a mark in the center. Then measure from bottom of the door up to the dot and write down that height value. Go to the outside of the door and figure out how high up to go and then do the left right center again and put another dot. Drill a pilot hole on each dot. Now use the hole saw to drill the holes from each side. At this point, the risk of being off from both sides is eliminated or so minor that fixes won't be an issue

Everything is pretty small when looking out but it’s a small in general as a peephole normally are. But installation was easy. Came with everything needed and drill bit to drill a perfect whole throw the door.

Love it. I have a solid door and sometimes I just want to be able to see who is at door prior to and/or not going to open. I have a nice security door but I had to open the door. The peep hole gives me more options and better security.

I added this to my door because it didn’t come with one. Instructions are easy, but you definitely will need a drill bit so you can make the pilot hole 1st all the way through the door so it’s a straight hole and not at an angle..you can use a small drill bit smaller than the one that this package comes with. Then follow the steps accordingly, you will have to drill on each side of the door because the bit set that is comes with can only drill one side at a time. It’s not long enough to go through the door and come out the other side. This is where the bit I told yall to drill about in the beginning comes in handy! You don’t need to add any silicone or anything like that. Install and enjoy! It definitely helps out and looks professional.

drill bit assembly fit standard drill, cut easily into steel insulated door--as did others I'll remind of good technique to first create a divot using a hole punch to avoid pilot bit slippage--first through one side until the pilot pokes through, then cut at it from the other side. Perhaps use some tape to protect your door's finish around the cut from the drill head hit as you poke through. Easy to screw peep hole into door, nice shutter features. View through glass is wide angle, very useful. Recommend.

Todo genial. Muy buena calidad para el precio. La broca que trae me ha funcionado estupendamente para hacer el agujero. Sí es cierto que por lo menos en mi puerta, he tenido que hacer el agujero desde dentro hacia afuera y una vez marcada fuera, de fuera hacia adentro, ya que la broca no era lo suficientemente larga para traspasarla de una vez. En definitiva, muy contento con la calidad y el precio de esta mirilla.

Œilleton assez facile à installer, à condition de bien centrer les deux trous de chaque côté de la porte. La mèche fournie pour le percage est pratique ( il faut penser à la vider du bois qui s’y accumule (et retirer le ressort pour percer rendra également cela plus facile). La vision est d’un bon angle et correcte. C’est globalement un bon produit, et d’un bon rapport qualité prix.

Me fué muy útil la broca para instalar la mirilla en la puerta, quedó exacta y tiene una vista clara a través de está, muy satisfecho y recomiendo el producto
