Vogel's TVM 5405 Extremely Flat TV Wall Bracket for 32-77 inch TVs, Max. 165 lbs, TV Bracket max. VESA 400x400, Universally Compatible, Distance to The Wall only 0.59 inch

I chose this Vogel's mount to hang a 2021 model of the Samsung Frame 43" tv. It uses a funky mount system that requires 4 screw holes in the wall...one in a stud is the best you can hope for and that requires 3 screws into drywall. There had to be a better way, so I decided to get this flush wall mount as it could take advantage of the optional 200mm x 200mm VESA mount on the back of the Frame. I was all set to return this wall mount after discovering the wood studs in my new home are irregularly spaced. The studs in the area that I wanted to mount the tv were spaced at 17" to the right and 20" to the left. The screw locations on the mount are at 16" and 18". It dawned on me that I could use the outside hole on one side and the inside hole on the other...making it a perfect 17". Problem solved...I'll use the 17" stud spacing! Installation was simple...just drill two holes using the mount's built-in level, mount the brackets on the back of the tv, and snap tv into place. I double-checked the level with my own level, and it was spot on. I did need to scrounge up a couple of M8 x 1.25 x 16mm screws for mounting the vertical tv mounts into the top two holes of the Frame tv, but the provided 12mm screws were fine for the lower two holes. It looks great on the wall and much more secure than using the Samsung mounts and it's very flush with the wall. It was a little more expensive than some of the options I was considering, but I really appreciated the simple installation, and easy mount locking system...no dangling cords, etc. I was really glad that I could make it work and very satisfied with the outcome.

Amazing mount so TV is completely flush against the wall. So it did its job. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't use this mount because I can't access the HDMI ports or USB ports in the back of the TV had to take the TV off the wall to plug anything in

This wall mount is nice used for my 48 inch Lg oled and it sits flat and close to the wall like a picture i would buy again for sure.

The mount itself is well-made and worth a look if you would like a low profile option. The mounting hardware provided, however, isn't very comprehensive. I was mounting a Samsung S95B, and the M8 screws provided were too long or too short, forcing me to use spacers provided for the longer screws and that caused the screw to stick out too far from the mount, preventing the TV from sitting flat against the wall. I ordered a separate kit from another vendor, containing a better assortment of M8 screws. Not complaining about the Vogel really, but with the popularity of the S95B, potential users of this mount should be aware. Also, the shorter sized wall mount bracket makes it hard to hit at least two studs at 16 OC while keeping the TV centered. Had to use the center hole of the mount and two sheetrock anchors (which I hate to use for something like this).

Great design and easy to install. Live how slim the depth is too!

This is not the first tv mount i have installed. I wanted a slimmer mount frame for my new tv. Holes on the plate do not align with studs. I had to drill an extra hole to the metal plate that attaches to the wall. This was the the only way the plate would allowed me to screw into two different studs. Its is slim and close to the wall The safety clip is made out of plastic. I don't think is too secure, but again it shouldn't be an issue since no one should be touching or walking near the tv. My entertainment center is on the way Bought an open box “very good” conditions. It wasnt, it was banged up and missing hardware. I had to go my near home depot to buy tje missing screws.

Installing this on a solid surface would work very well. It’s a well made bracket, is thin, and even looks nice. But if you’re using this bracket to install a tv on a wall with studs, look elsewhere. This bracket has zero (and I mean zero) maneuverability. If your studs are off 16”, or if you want to centre your tv, you won’t be able to. There is zero left or right maneuverability. Works great on a solid surface, but nowhere else.
