Silk Lime Green PLA

I was scared to get this because of other reviews, but I LOVE it! The color is incredible. The pictures don't even begin to do it justice. It printed great with zero issues. No stringing, no clogs, no problems at all. It came nicely vaccum sealed too. It isn't actually white to purple. It's more like lilac to dark purple, but I noticed that in the pictures before I ordered it, and it looked exactly like I expected. It actually looked better than I expected. I cannot say enough good things about this filament. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the cardboard spool because it was bent when it arrived, but it was usable and it fit on my Flashforge adventurer 5m pro. I wish I had ordered more rolls, and I will definitely order more in the future as long as the price doesn't go up. I added some pictures but it's really hard to capture the beauty and the color shift in photos. I forgot to change my settings to silk PLA for my benchy, and it still printed beautifully. I changed them for Gunter and the flowers though and they came out even better.

Beautiful - looks very much like copper. Prints great, not overly brittle, but is pretty strong (as strong as PLA gets anyway). But it doesn't tarnish like copper! :) Works well in my Ender 3 V2 Neo printer. No clogs. Like all PLA, keep your filament dry to avoid filament snapping. This has only snapped on me once, and that was after being in the printer and exposed to summer humidity in my office for over two weeks.

I printed a fidget toy with the silk rose pink filament on my Bambu Lab P1P printer to test it out. It printed easily and the color is even prettier than I expected. The pic/video doesn't do it justice due to how it looks in different lighting. The filament has not clogged anything or tangled so far and the quality seems standard for PLA. If that changes after using it for longer then I'll update this review. The only thing to note is that it specifies that the best heat is between 200-235°C. I tested it out on the normal Bambu Lab Silk PLA setting without adjusting the temp and it worked fine. It might work even better if I adjusted it though. Now I'm off to buy it in different colors!

This is such a pretty filament. Everything we print turns out so nice, and this is by far her favorite!

I’ve been using this filament for a while now, and overall, it’s a great product, especially for the price. The prints come out well with good color consistency, and it generally performs really nicely, No clogging, and not too brittle. That said, I’ve noticed some variation between batches—sometimes the filament is shinier or the layers adhere better, while other times it’s a bit more hit-or-miss in terms of layer bonding and finish. Despite that, it’s still a reliable option, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for good value in filament. If they had better QC, I would definitely buy in bulk.

I have used this filament for a specific product and it works great. No tangles and the finished product looks great.

I actually worked with 2 rolls of this and while I may look in to buying from MIKA3D again it will never be this filament. I had clogs, stringing, blobs, you name it. Put into the dryer for a good period and tried again. Slightly better and by slightly I mean maybe 10-15% better. Eventually had to tweak setting into some hybridized PLA/PETG combo that did make things much better but still had problems. All the above was for the first roll. Got the second a few days after the first and put it into the dryer immediately. I had the same issues with the second roll as the first. Worst thing about this is that it was a print that my friend was giving to one of his wedding party, He actually bought the second roll after the rough time I had with the first as he really wanted this filament's colors. I was never actually satisfied, let alone happy, about the quality of the print.
