Plugs straight into my Raspberry Pi 4B. Boot up the pie issue a few commands. It just works. Many different resolutions for still shots or video. Used with MotionEye OS for best security or surveillance system.

Camera quality seems a bit fuzzy but it's ok for what I use it for, other than that it was a great buy

Purchased this for octoprint on my 3d printer. Works pretty well after you get it set up. Would definitely recommend watching a few videos to reduce frustration. Only suggestion if you're using this for a 3d printer is to buy a longer ribbon. You never know when you may need to move the camera, and you want to have enough reach from the pi.

Following the proper procedures, I connected this into my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, then connected the Raspberry Pi to power, immediately after, I heard a pop and saw smoke coming from the Raspberry Pi. I disconnected power, disconnected the camera, then connected the Raspberry Pi back to power, but it does not turn on, and the power indicator light does not illuminate. Upon inspection I found that one of the chips is now burnt through and the 3.3v rail is dead. I sent a message to Arducam Support, but have not received a response. I’ll be returning the camera and acquiring a replacement Raspberry Pi. I’d look elsewhere for a Raspberry Pi camera solution.
