Great product
Great product. Holds thick steam iron generator lead away from the ironing board & stops it getting caught. Well worth the money.

Was looking for a replacement for my simple, 1970’s spring type cord holder. The is a large, clumbsy, over engineered design and much less efficient. The 1970’s version was hinged, very flexible and once attached to the ironing board simply folded down so it did not need to be removed before the board can be collapsed after use. This gadget does stop the cord rubbing on the board, but it has been be attached & removed each time you use it, it is not particularly flexible & gets in the way when ironing. If I could find an old style one, this would be jettisoned in a flash .

Keeps the flex out of the way
I can't live without one of these the flex on my iron is a pain 😫 always getting caught on something, but this little gadget makes life so much easier, I've been using these things for years but this is the best one I've had yet, love it

Not as good as it looks
I've been using things to keep the flex from my irons out of the way of the heat from the plate for years now. Some have been so good they've lasted ages so by the time you need to replace them they're out of manufacture. So you buy something else & this item was the item shown. I found it tricky to get attached to the ironing board and the sticky-up bit with the odd hole, well I've still not worked out how or what that does. No written instructions came with the goods so I had to look at loads of pictures from the web to see how it was supposed to go. Now I'm not thick but I couldn't figure it out so I bought another one, not the same as this but made by the same people & this new one works a treat.
