Auto Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm MS01-SP5-SV

I love all the adjustments this pencil allows for. I was able to dial in things just where I like them -- sure it's gimmicky -- and I thought the same until I tried it-- it's gimmicks work for me. It's also an attractive mechanical pencil and feels like an instrument rather than just a writing device. I have MANY mechanical pencils that I have collected over the years. This one is one oof my favorites to hold and play with as I write or draw. I often change up the pencil I am using for drawing or writing, and I keep coming back to this one. If you collect mechanical pencils, you should get this one. If you have use of it's adjustable features, you should get this one. If you just want a good writer or a good drafting pencil, you can get cheaper pencils that will serve you as well or better than this pencil. But for me--I am very happy to have it in my collection.

Damn this a great drafting pencil. The extending sleeve is a wonderful bonus and has weight to the barrel. Extremely durable and highly recommended.

Comfortable in my hand, easy to use, and very well made. I bought one of their pens a couple of years ago; the Horizon pen. I love it! So, when I needed to buy a dependable mechanical pencil, I knew what brand to look for. Plus, the pencil has some cool features; the eraser cover twists to show in the little window which lead is in it. The tip length is adjustable so when I'm drafting I can make it longer to clear the square or shorter when writing. Great mechanical pencil!!!

I'm a fan of mechanical pencils. This is a good one. You can adjust the length of the lead sleeve at the tip of the pencil as well as the amount. Lead the extends from the pencil with each click. The only issues I had with the pencil is that it does not feel sturdy. It feels like the parts are a little loose inside the barrel of the pencil, probably because of the different ways you can customize the pencils function. This was not negatively effected the pencils function so far. I have recommended it to a few people. One more thing, after a short amount of time, the writing on the barrel has rubbed off. Not a deal breaker, just a little annoying.

Excellent pencil but requires some simple mods: (1) unscrew the back and wrap tape around the eraser part to stop it from shaking (2) unscrew the tip. take out the spring and twist the grip to move it up. wrap tape under the grip to stop it from shaking (3) use white lithium grease on the inside of the grip to make it smoother. put back the spring and screw on the tip

The top cap that covers the eraser keeps falling off, but you can customize it a lot

This pencil has a perfect balance in weight and writing pressure. It also has a solid metal body with a retractable feature, granted you have to twist the grip to retract the pencil tip.
