Tech Wash & TX.Direct Twin Pack – Wash-In Cleaner and Waterproofer for Waterproof Outdoor Clothing, Restores Breathability and Performance, 2 x 300ml

Good quality product easy to use,economical does the job

Excellent product works well to both wash and waterproof outdoor clothing. It’s got more expensive lately and despite having bought this product for a number of years I now realise that it has an expiry date so don’t let it sit too long if you buy a larger container or it will pass it use by date.

Washed my trousers and jacket, first time out was bone dry, Fantastic!!! Easy to use, and bottles seal back up nicely. Also has child proof caps, it’s expensive stuff as I believe I’ll only get to washes out of the pack. But you get what you pay for! 5*

I have used this product for a number of years and it never disappoints. Great for cleaning and maintaining my waterproof / showerproof golf clothing.

The two products, cleaner and proofer, had instructions on the side of each bottle. I was able to wash and re-proof two “breathable” rain coats. The cleaner used half of the contents to wash the two coats, 150ml out of the 300ml contents. The re-proofer used 200ml out of the 300ml contents for the two coats. Unfortunately this means that there is another cleaner leftover for washing the two coats again, but not enough re-proofer for the two coats. I was able to tumble dry the coats which helps to make the breathability better. One of the coats worked really well in the rain, with water “beading” on the surface. The other coat, which had been used more often didn’t work as well, rain didn’t “bead” on the surface. I will try tumble drying again, to see if that improves the waterproofing. Overall the products were easy to use, time will tell how they work.

We have used these products many times before so can say that they do work and are probably the best out there, although a little expensive.

Works just as intended…. We used it to clean our ski pants and jackets to keep it clean and water repellent… tried the clothes in our second trip and it was better than the original manufacturer coating Highly recommend

Used these to freshen up my ski gear, and they worked great. Both products go right in the wash, making it super easy—no spraying or extra steps needed. After realising that my jacket was no longer waterproof, I looked for something to fix it. This stuff did the trick. Easy enough to use. The effect was from water soaking through the jacket to beading and running off. I'll use this more regularly now to keep it waterproof.
