Excellent for Map/Compass Navigation Planning, having 1:24k, 1:25k, 1:50k, and 1:10k/100k roamers with openings for marking and scales needed. Has mils, degrees and even back-azimuth degrees. Protractor is flexible and has rounded corners.

I bought these for a training exercise with my team and they work great. They have several different scales to accommodate for any map reading to ensure accuracy. The picture on the product is exactly what the product is.

I got the protractor along with two smaller ones from CYA. They all seem well made with sharp, clear printing of the scales. This one will stay on my desk for trip planning, while the smaller ones are are able to fir in my compass case on the trail.This model does have Military scales, but also has scales that match civilian topographic maps.

I used this in a resent Nav class on a topographic map. Worked great. Several students in the class asked to use the protractor to plot their course.

Not only are the map plotting devices spot on. There are written instructions on how to use them if you are not familiar with them. PLUS!!!!! He has a website you can visit for MORE information. All at not extra cost to you....just a thank-you for buying the items from him. He even made a special brochure and map showing my exact location on the map and what my current declination is and how to adjust my compass to get true magnetic north.
