My new Costco iMac (2024 M4) did not have the same USB-C ports as my 6 year old Mac. What is in place are only (2) Firewire jacks. In order to plug in any of my equipment using a USB plug I would have had to purchase an adapter, early on in my search I was only finding adapters from $35-$75 dollar range. I found this item at a great price and thought I would give it a try, works great. No need to purchase new equipment or to toss out the old

I was using one USB C to USB Adapter that has a relatively long cord. I travel often and when I carry them in my laptop bag, the cord was stored a little crunched so the connecting part was damaged (I guess it happens to a lot of electric devices like this one). I did not like to repeat the same issue by purchasing the similar type (although the product I used was really a good one). This one does not have a long cord and should be all right after removing and inserting quite a lot. I have just started it today after I received it and it seems working fine without issues. Good thing about this product is that it comes with 3 pieces. I have a couple of computers so I can used them for my other computer and one will be a backup. I recommend this products because of its good function and the price.

All new rental cars only have USB-C plugins.. which leaves you unable to use your older square USB plugs. I have not yet found a situation where the adaptor did not function 100%

Had one break right away, so I’m just now trying the other two and see if they make it.
