Faxon Low-Top Canvas Sneaker

Growing up I always used to own Vans Off The Wall because I liked the style of the shoe, but unfortunately every Vans I've owned deteriorated after approximately 1.5 years of daily use. I kept buying them because they did last for a decent amount of time, but they always ended up falling apart. I found the Polo Ralph Lauren shoes at Macy's one day and decided to try them on and they fitted comfortably. I saw the price tag was around $60, which was a bit much for a pair of shoes considering I used to spend $35 on Vans. I found that these shoes were on Amazon and were cheaper than at the store, so after making sure I knew my size I bought them here. They are really good shoes! Not the most comfortable (anyone who has canvas shoes similar knows they dig into their feet) but at least the sole has good support. I've been wearing two pairs of these for several months now with daily use, and they have not shown any sign of falling apart. There are a few measures I took though, such as spraying a water-resistant solution on the white rubber to allow dirt to fall off easily and I bought a Dr. Sholl's shoe insert to make it comfortable standing on my feet all day. The only cons I have with these shoes is that they do dig into your feet unless you have thick skin (like I do from wearing Vans for 10 years). I'm not sure how someone would alleviate this problem, but it is a significant con. The pros is the style, the high quality leather laces, thick canvas and soft foam inserts. I would definitely recommend this for anyone considering buying them and willing to spend under $60.

Very comfortable, very good looking, great quality, great value. I love Polo and these were a must have. Its very hard to find size 14 shoes for me as a 6ft 2in man, but Amazon did it again! Love these shoes.

These shoes fit very well and they're good and comfortable to walk in. They look good too, a nice light brown fabric with contrasting brown leather piping and heel. A little different in a good way. When I was looking at the picture online I saw leather shoelaces, which was almost a deal killer for me because that kind of lace doesn't stay tied very well and doesn't look good either. But I liked the rest of the shoe so I ordered a pair and I was pleased to find out that they include nice wide fabric shoe laces as well, so you have a choice. I tossed out the leather ones and used the fabric ones and they're the same color as the shoes, so it's perfect in appearance. I liked these shoes so much that I might buy another pair in a different color.

They look cute but it’s just too narrów . Either you get 1/2 up or buy a different pair of sneakrs

Genuine leather shoes, really great, runs a lil bit big so be mindful of downsizing a little bit

I'm a director at a country club. I started by wearing dress shoes and by the end of the day had blisters all over my feet. These polos are 100 times more comfortable than dress shoes and look super classy with golf gear. I replaced the insoles with Dr.Scholls and can stand and run around on them for 12 hours a day no problem! The only issue I have with them is that the bottom rubber wears out quicker than I'd like. There are small holes now in the bottom, if I step in water my socks get wet. The other parts of the shoe are still in good shape. I still give this shoe 5 stars because there is nothing better for quality, looks, and comfort for the price.

Older pair bought a year and a half ago and put through quite the use. They both fit a little larger than all my other shoes by about half a size. They're comfortable but definitely need some breaking in and are not comfortable enough for walking long distances even when broken in as with most flat shoes like these. They're alright for skateboarding though and they look all around great! Also I bought: Polo Ralph Lauren Men's Vaughn Saddle Fashion Sneaker, Newport Navy, 11.5 D US thinking it was the same, it's not! Vaughn saddle fashion sneaker and Faxon Low sneakers are different! I prefer Faxon Low sneakers. LACES I'm now a fan of the leather laces that come with these shoes. Actually bought a second pair of leather laces too for cheap right on Amazon. I will say however that the laces feel like you can't be as rough on them as you can be with other laces. You can tighten them as you see fit but not like regular laces. I pull one side while holding the shoe down while I get the other end to lock it all in place. Only like this will I get the tight fit I like. Also when new, the laces come all bundled up and they took some time to become untangled. None of that is bad though. I still really love the laces. Very satisfied with my purchase and the price.

I have a TON of polo sneakers, and I love them all, these included. That said, I have a few issues with this pair that I'm not sure if they are a manufacturing issue or if they're just how this pair is made. 1. The laces, the black and yellow laces look GREAT with this shoe, but the way they're made, they're odd when tied and don't hold a knot very well. I've had them untie on me several times in the 2 days I've worn them (and I generally double knot my shoes). 2. The white rubber that goes around the bottom back of the shoe. Ive worn these for 2 days so far, and the rubber is already shredding and falling off of the shoe. The first layer of the "stripe" has now ripped off. I understand that shoes are on the ground and theres wear and tear but it hasn't even been 48 full hours (today is the 2nd day I'm wearing them). There should not be pieces falling off of the shoe in day 2. See added photo for what I'm talking about (I walk around NYC during the day, hence why these are as dirty as they are on day 2) The rest of the shoe appears to be made just like any of the other polo shoes i have. They look nice and are comfortable to be walking around in all day. I'll certainly still buy plenty more polo shoes but I think I'll just like this pair a little less than the others.

These shoes are great. So clean, fresh and stylish. They fit as expected. Super sturdy and they shipped really fast. These shoes are well worth their price.
