More than just functional
It's a delight to find a cheap water timer that does the job neatly - this fulfuls that with aplomb with multiple programs which can each include a repeat interval which makes the leap to summer watering easy. Then there's a rain sensor. It's on the body of the timer so if your tap is indoors this isn't a bonus but as mine is fully exposed it works perfectly and skips watering if there's wet on top the device. Brilliant. Feels like a steal. Might buy another if they go on offer.

Kazeila Digital Water Timer
I bought this timer to water Hanging Baskets after failing one of the Verve (B&Q) models. Had this for over year now & work very well. Clear large display and easy to over ride water programme if needed. Battery life has been very good so-far as still using the original ones. I am very pleased with the product and has recommended to few others too. very good buy. Thought of doing a return review after nearly 3 years because dammed thing is still working with same original battery. only yesterday it started showing low battery. It worked all through out this summer with out a hitch. very very good product. I highly recommend this after using for three years out side all wind & rain.

Simple and straight forward.
The first of these that I bought lasted 2 years+ until the solenoid valve stopped working. This was at least as long as as a succession of more expensive and much better known units that I have had in the past.

Just what I need
This works really well. At first there were some issues with leaking but once they were sorted out it's been great. It's very easy to use. Can be a nuisance when you just want to fill up your watering can, and you turn B on instead of A, but you learn quickly after getting soaked lol For being one of the cheapest options I found I'm really pleased. Battery life seems very good too

Simple settings and good value
The 5 star Is for a well made and designed watering controller. Extremely simple, well written AND readable instructions. I am hopeful and time will tell how good it performs.

Utterly awful instructions
The instructions are stripped right back on text and just show diagrams with a numbering system to follow iro the software/display on the actual product. The problem with this is: a) sometimes you need to press a button for a certain length of time to register the function, b) you need to guess what some of the fields (that you can change) do or impact other parameters. Some fields are obvious, others, like ‘How Often’ are rather confusing. Just reading ‘ How Often’ here, you might think it means ‘how often does the program run’, BUT the option is between 1 hour and 15 days. Again that might seem obvious, until you learn that the two field options before ‘How Often’ are ‘Start time’ and ‘How Long’. There’s no instructions to say what overrides what. So let’s say you set the start time to 8am, how long to 30 mins, but then what happens if you set the ‘How Often’ to 1 hour? How does this impact the 8am start time? Is there an off point to the 1 hour cycle, eg after 12 hours or some other arbitrary duration. After experimentation with different values in different fields we’ve managed to do the very simple task of once a day watering repeating indefinitely.. But it really shouldn’t require this much hard work to achieve the most basic of tasks. So ‘To the Chinese manufacturer’ get someone who both fully understands your product and speaks good English to ‘explain’ in words how the software works. Diagrams on their own are not enough!

It works but is a pain to set up due to the app
I have managed to get this working. The app is slow and laggy, figured out if you use it with mobile data and turn wifi off once device is added it works better. The timer and spray settings in the device menu don't work at all. I ended up setting up automations in the Scene section of the app and added multiple schedules (times to trigger automation) to one automation "sprinkler" then turn on device "water timer". Created another automation "if device "water timer" changes to "on" "delay 2 mins (change this for length of time to water)" set device "water timer" to "off"". Plus a further automation "if weather Rainy or Snowy" Then Automation Sprinkler Disable which stops it from activating when its raining. This was the only way I could get this to work, having my wifi on my phone off and setting up a custom automation outside of the actual device menu. Actual function - doesn't seem to leak, Apparently you need decent non rechargeable batteries, seems to be consistant. Physical Setup - Easy Software - Garbage. Cost - Cheap. Overall - Given the price and the fact its currently working as I wanted its still worth it for me.
