The bottom units are controlled by the finger triggers, the top units by the built in trigger. The bottom units aren't going anywhere, very solid install!I weighed it, 15.4lbs. It takes 15 seconds to release both bottom units.....in case I just want a set of charged spares for the dual rack.Buying the way I did(2 full kils, 2-bodies-only, 1 dual rack), I have the dual rack mount plus 4 other arm or single rack type mounts. I can take 3 friends if I want and we can each have one! One was plenty enough....This is just "because I can"....well that and;SIXTY LBS of thrust.Research shows this was by far the best way to do this. The only other modular unit is the LEFEET and it's a max of two units only giving you a total of 36lbs of thrust for a little more money & the same weight! The pro level models only give you more time, for a lot more money.This will be fun!Special K

The media could not be loaded. We’ve owned two twin Subnado handles and they both failed after 10-15 dives of less than 30’. We are meticulous with rinsing with fresh water as we do for all of our equipment that goes in the ocean. Despite our best efforts, the trigger mechanisms failed. The seal is very poor. We get no response when pulling the trigger. Hoping this review will get Waydoo to send us two new ones!Update: The company put us through tiresome and unreasonable laborious steps to send video after video on the defective double handle twin mounts. They have replaced 1 of 2. Warning on the Warranty - it is not a “No Hassle 6 Month Warranty” as advertised. Yulia sends demands of videos you never could have imagined and stonewalls the replacement.

We did a week long reef dive in Honduras and I took these, I also bought the handle accessory package. Two of the subnado's together are crazy powerful and underwater it gets you moving. I had absolutely zero issues and they hold a charge much better than advertised.

I highly recommend this for scuba dives, unfortunately my thruster pin connector broke so it's likely there could be problems later. Doing a return. Will buy another when I go on another trip. Hopefully it lasts significantly longer.The double thrusters make deep recreational dives much calmer and will help fight a current. Make sure you are still a good swimmer. Lasted me 4 deep 120-130ft dives about 35mins when used 5-10mins per dive.Due to how fragile the pins are, I recommend people not remove the connection point unless they absolutely have to. Even with the broken pins my two thrusters still worked at 130ft of water so it'll last even if damaged.Also with clips it seems the metal is pretty weak, so it will scratch. This will not look nice after a couple days diving especially when returning to a boat in 3-6foot waves.Make sure you tether this to yourself with metal clips/not the hand tether which can snap easily. A silicone coated metal clip would be ideal to avoid scratches. Consider a secure quick release clip too as this year can get caught in ropes on boats especially when exiting.

If you weigh over 175lbs...I would recommend you buy 2 Subnados and use this bracket.

This is an excellent addition to any subnado engine. We got a subnado stand up paddle set (which is fantastic), so I got this to try using the engine as just a regular water scooter. I only have one engine, and this works just fine with just one (I sealed the electric contact for engine two pretty well). It is easy to grip even in water and the trigger is very easy to operate. The combined engine and handle are pretty heavy, so you definitely want to securely clip this on to yourself so that it cannot get lost if dropped. It will sink instantly otherwise.

I have bought 4 of these, and every one has burned up the pin contacts and failed on me underwater. I love the power, and how perfectly it works when new. I used this daily scuba diving and it's a great help for me to extend my range without exhausting myself. I was average careful with the first one, and after burning up the pins I became much more careful about keeping the contacts clean, tight, lubricated with the silicone lube, and always shutting off power before connecting and disconnecting. With all my efforts, they fail after about 10-30 dives. I have tried replacing the end connectors with fresh ones cut from the single handle rig, soldered and shrinkwrap to waterproof... Still fails. I've set up and wrapped multiple of the long coiled cables around the double rig to make it work, but that's using the inconvenient finger ring trigger and it also failed. It's really quite disappointing. I have several of the subnado waydoo motors now, but all my double controllers are burned up. Sadly these will be replaced with another brand/model with a wireless controller, hopefully it will last longer.To Waydoo: Please develop a wireless controller adapter or more reliable contacts on the connection! Release a new controller and I'll buy it!
