Great scissors
I'm a professional Paracordist and need excellent scissors to cut through Paracord without fraying the ends of the cord. I have gone through several frisk scissors which work well but don't last. These are fantastic. Very sharp, sturdy and the lock function is excellent! There is a down-side, the springs break. I have to replace them after about 6 months. I'm now looking to see how I can have them replaced under the lifetime warranty???

Watch Your Fingers
I often have the need for a pair of scissors in my workshop - cutting cable ties, thick pieces of plastic etc. - the sort of thing that destroys my wife's kitchen scissors. Unless you want to spend sixty odd quid on a pair of Leathermans, the majority seemed to be kitchen scissors or "tough scissors" that had dubious reviews.Found this pair Amazon.com & they had pretty good reviews - it was toss-up between these & the 10-inch pair. As the majority of stuff I'll be cutting doesn't need a long blade, I went for these on the basis that the handles will act more like snips than scissors (better leverage)First impressions - well made, sturdy, with a wickedly sharp blade. Thick cardboard & thick plastic - straight through. The tin base of a 5 kg coffee tin (including the rolled seam) straight through, two core cable - straight through. On demonstrating them to my wife (like a kid with a new toy) she was genuinely concerned I would cut my finger off !! The action is a little scratchy, but I reckon that should ease with use.So far they've lived up to my expectations & are doing everything that I wanted them to - see how they go over time

BEST EVER
Brilliant! I bought this cos I couldn't find my old strong pair. Use it mainly to cut bottom & sides of ointment tubes to get all stuff out. Also cutting such as fish packets which are too well sealed. This cuts like a knife through butter. On receiving the Weis I of course found the old ones. So I could compare them this morning on a fish pack. The difference was amazing. Like chalk & cheese! Only minor problem is that the Boss finds it hard to pull the safety catch back - finger trouble! Doesn't worry me so must give it a full 5 stars. 26/7 Boss ca now open Wiss Not Weis. Just cut ointment tube open. So much better. Very easy 100%. 5 Star +

Great scissors. Seriously sharp.

Disappointed.
These have a few faults. The spring is way too strong and forces the grip too far apart. And I have big hands. Be careful you understand the sizing as these are very short blades. They look tough. I have 3 stars for value as I don’t see me using them much.
