The slicer is well made and is a very useful tool for slicing our bread maker made bread. The item is sturdy and is made and functions well. If there are any drawbacks it is that the Slicer is only made for loaf shaped bread. The only way to use this with a round loaf is to cut the round loaf in half and cut it that way. The knife that comes with it works for the purpose, but I find the knife cuts a little rough due to the serrated edge and it could be about an 1" longer to be perfect. I use a non-serrated meat slicing knife to make smoother cuts, plus it is much longer. Overall, I am very happy with the product. I also enjoy that it folds down neatly for storage when not in use.

This Bread slicer has it all! Comes with a very nice knife that attaches to the back with a magnet. Has different thickness choices, a crumb catcher, and folds up for easy storage. Slicing my homemade bread has become a big pleasure. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!

I love this bread slicer! I make my own bread with a bread machine and this slicer even fits those odd sized loaves. It comes with a great knife also, and my favorite part is the various sized slices you can make. So you don't have the standard, too wide, of a slice. And it comes in a cloth storage bag. Easy to put together and easy to fold down and put away

The slicer is nice and really consistent, however I didn't get a knife with mine like the description says it should have, that's the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars.

While I am highly disappointed in Amazon as they knowingly sent me an opened and broken product, once I returned it and received a new in package item, I love it! It stores flat with little room and assembles easily. I love the 2 size options and it is easy to clean. So glad I made this purchase as I couldn’t slice my homemade bread anything close to straight.

OMG, I LOVE this thing! 1. It has a "bag" to keep all the parts in. 2. The knife that comes with it is secured with a magnet. 3. It has tiny "tabs" on the bottom so it won't slide on the countertop. 4. It has a bread crumb tray. 5. The sides squeeze together to keep the bread in place while cutting. 6. The sides have different sizes, so you can cut big/small slices. 7. The entire thing will fold up and goes in the bag.
