Fit perfectly on whirlpool wed49stbw1, UPDATE broke after 6 months
Watched YouTube on how to replace the original belt that disintegrated. This new belt worked perfectly, dryer is good as new with less than $20 spent. Ribbed side goes down against the drum.UPDATE. 6 months later the belt snapped. It looks just like the pictures in the other 1 star reviews. Maybe there was a bad lot, I purchased in March 2024.UPDATE 2: root cause was motor pulley being worn smooth, causing the belt to stop, get a hot spot and melt through. That's probably what's happening in the other 1 star reviews that show something like a clean break. Inspecting motor pulley should be part of every DIY repair guide! It's another ~$10 part, still cheaper than a new dryer.

Mr. Fix It! Perfect repair option.
This inexpensive belt helped me easily repair my dryer and save hundreds of dollars. A quick you tube video inspired me to tackle this project. The belt was perfect size, seemed durable and was super simple to install. The dryer is working perfectly after replacement!

Was easy to install, bought a few weeks ago and dryer is still doing great. 👌Broke after 6 months- found out later it was not the belt but a motor pulley.UPDATEIf you have replaced multiple belts make sure the pulley on your motor isn't broken because it will eat your belt up. Couldn't tell mine was broken until I took it off. 20$ fix and no more broken belts. Found the tip in the comment section here. Hope it helps!!

Nothing special just a dryer belt that fits it all depends on how.long.it last but it arrived on time and that was important enough for me I'll buy again
