Sterilite 24 Compartment Stack & Carry Christmas Ornament Storage Box | 14276604

This was perfect for each of my grandchildren to have their own ornament box. The clip on one was broken, and normally I would have sent back but I was able to get along without due to the fact I ordered extra boxes so I could break apart and make it 3 tier each. If this wasn't what I exactly needed I might not have purchased because I felt it was very expensive. I probably could have gone to box stores and found them after Christmas prices cheaper.

I thought these would be bigger so was skeptical when I first saw them. But...they fit all but my biggest ornaments and I liked the flexibility of the compartments, which you can customize a bit. They're more "spendy" than I would have liked, but they are sturdy and I have confidence my ornaments will be "safe."

When I bought this item, I did not pay attention to the dimensions given in the description, and I anticipated it would be larger. I was looking for a see-thru container big enough to hold my larger ornaments (that do not fit in the red and clear Sterilite ornament holders. Unfortunately, these are the same depth as the Sterilite ornament containers, so my large ornaments still did not fit. HOWEVER, I was still able to find another unique purpose for them, and what I love about them (compared to the other Sterilite container) is that it is completely see-through, so easier to see what is in the container while it is stacked (the other Sterilite container is only clear on the top--I still must unstack them to see what is inside). I deducted a star in the "sturdiness" feature because the "locking" feature that holds on the lid, and connects the two boxes together, is not sufficient to handle a heavier load. I will still be able to put heavy items in them, but will have to lift the tw0-(or more) stacked containers from the bottom, instead of using the handle on the top.All in all this is a very well planned construction and I only wish each box were an inch or two deeper.

This is a wonderful storage container for small ornaments. I bought it to store my set of Hallmark Mary’s Angels. It is a bit expensive, but I love the size and the carry handle.

Containers are very small. The dividers are just made of thin cardboard that cannot keep ornaments separated. They bend and do not have any reinforcement slots in the plastic to key into. I could have bought larger containers and made separators out of balsa wood for much less money. I don’t recommend these and would not buy them again. Very disappointed.

I evidently didn’t realize the dividers are cardboard. I thought they were plastic. I have others with plastic adjustable dividers and love them. For the price I was very disappointed. I am sure they won’t hold up and then I’ll have a just another plastic open container which is basic how i previously stored the. I expected more from this brand.
