The Little Book of Investigations (Little Books)

I first came across the Little Books when I was managing a pre-school in 2005.Last year I found this one in the library at University and it helped me to write an assignment by giving me some good ideas for knowledge and understanding of the world - exploration and investigation. This year's assignment goes deeper into planning for primary science and this book should be very helpful. Each activity idea has an associated word bank and the cross curricular links that everything in the Foundation Stage should have.

This is a lovely book full of easy but effective ideas for investigating in early years. I'll be using it a lot.

The little boy was very pleased with this book. Easy to understand and great pictures. Would recommend to any one with a child interested in learning about the garden.
