NewPower99 Battery Replacement Kit with Battery, Instructions and Tools compatible with Google Nexus 10 (Google Nexus 10, Samsung Nexus 10)

Item arrived very speedily. The instructions were on a DVD included in the packaging. The thing was well wrapped and the instructions were crystal clear. I was able to install the battery and thanks to the large number of fiddly little screws the whole thing took about 20 mins. The tools provided were a godsend to dismantle the casing and remove the tiny plugs Since then the tablet has a new lease of life. An excellent product and well packaged and very informative info with it. Highly recommended

After my died , I decided to have a go at replacing the battery. At first I thought that this was far too expensive, but my tablet was sitting in a drawer doing nothing. So I took a chance and bought a replacement Kit. Most importantly it comes with the little tools and screwdriver needed remove the cover and replace the battery. 15 minute job and the tablet was working perfectly.

The battery only lasts for approx 2 hours, after swapout it was fully charged before use so should be ok even if battery "memory" issues still exist. When charging from flat the indicator on the nexus indicates that battery is already 2 thirds charged but this is obviously not the case.Changing battery was ok, just the ribbon cables are a bit fiddly, it took 3 goes before the touchscreen cable was seated properly (although no visual difference). Instead of buying this get a new £200 tablet. I would return but too much hassle to swap out again.

This kit is outstanding, brought new life to my wife's Nexus 10. Instruction were well thought out and video made it straight forward. Very grateful for saving me a lot of money and no loss of data. Thank You.

Simple to follow youtube instructions, battery worked first time and much cheaper than buying new tablet!

Complete waste of money. Followed the instructions carefully, on removing the case, I found that I had broken one of the ribbons. The tablet is now irreparable. If they pointed out to you on the video the point where this ribbon is, you could have avoided inserting the plastic tool in this exact place. I now have a battery with no use and a broken tablet that used to work.

Tools & DVD made this battery replacement very straightforward. All in all, an excellent product.
