The Power Lance Done Right
I paid about 130.00 USD for this weapon replica. Given the scale, attention to detail and features of the lance, I'd say this is a more than fair asking price for an avid collector and fan. The only concern I have is when the sai's are extended individually and in lance mode. The weight of the area near the blades makes the weapon a bit top heavy. This is mainly due to the battery compartment and most of the electronics being housed here, which is understandable given the shape of the weapon and it's extendable feature. The only issue I really faced was when the batteries were in, often times when the sai's were extended and off, it would trigger the sound extending sound effect. Not a deal breaker by any means, but something to be aware of if you're using this for cosplay. Of the three weapons that have been released so far that I have, this is one I would definitely take caution in swinging around as I don't know how sturdy the plastic is at the top of the handle base. The lights and sounds are along the same range as the other two weapons released so far. The light function on these is along the edge of the blade instead of a translucent front side, which I kind of prefer. All in all, I'd highly recommend this piece to add to your collection if you are a MMPR fan. It will look great next to the other two weapons as well.
