This is a good guide. I like it.

This book is full of very helpful information especially if you’re trying to learn the names, lingo, and technical info about all the equipment! Definitely a must have!

I’ve spent time on sets for TV and film, and have a fairly good working knowledge of the industry vernacular. I’m visually familiar with grip tools - and this book gives easy to understand drawings & photos of grip tools with descriptions of the gear and professional tips on using each type and piece of gear that make sense.

I mean, there’s not a lot of creativity and it could be boring or backbreaking. Unless you’re just moving up the chain. I don’t know, it might be better just to become a lower manager at a supermarket or work at Starbucks.
