Great quality
Love this cup. My baby only breastfeeds and I introduced this cup. He learned how to use it quickly and won't use any other cup now. They give you the right size straw cleaner with it and it works well. No hard to get build up so far. He also drops it and throws it and no leaking. He does however like to flick the straw to fling liquid that is in the top of the straw

Baby Loves It, But Some Downsides
My baby absolutely loves the Dr. Brown's Milestones Baby's First Straw Cup! It was an easy transition from a bottle, and the soft silicone straw is gentle on gums and great for little hands learning how to sip. The handles are perfectly sized, and my baby took to it right away — it quickly became our go-to cup for water and milk. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. It does tend to leak if it tips over or is shaken (which, let’s be honest, happens constantly with a baby). Also, the silicone straw stains pretty easily — especially if your baby eats or drinks anything with color (like purees or juice). Even after thorough washing, the straw holds onto some of those stains. Despite those minor issues, we still use it daily because of how much our baby enjoys it. Just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a leak-proof or stain-resistant option. Overall, a great starter straw cup!

Make sure everything is lined up with the cup
This Dr brown cup is a great cup! I seen it can have mixed reviews. Like it's hard for a child to get anything out of the straw (to fix this don't push the straw (with the ball) fully into the straw (drinking part straw). You want to leave a little gap in the circle part for air flow.) It has only leaked a couple times you have to make sure everything is lined up and in place. Over time throwing the cup it can leave some drops here or there but it's a great cup!!

Baby loves it!
Baby loves this straw cup. Barely leaks, super soft straw and the flow is perfect for my 8-9 month old. He learned how to use it immediately, never used a straw before and it was super simple for him. Loves the design and can grasp it easily. Easy to clean too if you have a straw cleaner.

Great cup with thoughtful design, some minor drawbacks
My baby likes these cups the most out of all we’ve tried. I love the weighted straw — unlike other cups that require tilting or special manipulation, my baby can drink it dry easily. The handles are easy for little hands to hold, though they can get in the way when placing the cup in a stroller holder or packing multiple cups in a lunchbox. I wish the handles could clip on from the outside so I could slip it on without removing the lid entirely. It does leak slightly when filled with milk after extended use. I ended up buying replacement cups since mine started leaking more, and unfortunately, replacement parts are more expensive than buying a whole new cup. Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed cup that works really well for teaching independent drinking, but the minor leakage and handle design could use improvement.

Worth the money! Would buy a million
Very easy for my girl to pick up once she first started using this cup at 6mo old (she learned to use a straw before having this product). The straw is silicone and very flexible but also has survived the ruthless 8 teeth of my baby who has bit and pulled at the straw a lot. It also comes apart and goes back together easily so you can ensure it's cleaned well (Also comes with a special straw cleaning brush). The cup has survived many drops from the highchair to our hardwood floor without any breaks or damage. It's mostly pretty leakproof, but if you leave it upside down for an extended period of time, you may find a little wetness. It has easy to read measurements which have been a life saver in keeping track of water intake. The straw cover on the lid snaps back and forth smoothly, but stays secure when you want the straw put away. Overall, no complaints and I would buy a million if I could.

Leaks especially with milk as it warms up a little bit
Initially I liked this cup as a first option for straw cups with handles, but over time have become increasingly frustrated with how much it leaks and all the parts that need to be cleaned (5 pieces for 1 cup). Especially with milk, as it warms up, if left for a few minutes it starts to leak out the top of the straw. If you travel with it, it leaks in your bag. (Put it in a plastic bag for transporting.) I’m sure it’s hard creating a leak proof option with a straw, but I wish I hadn’t bought 3 of these.

Very helpful for babies, but cleaning can be difficult
I’m happy with this straw cup for my baby. The size is perfect, and the weighted straw really helps my baby drink from any angle, which makes the transition much easier. The design is nice and the materials feel safe and good quality. However, cleaning it can be a bit difficult, especially the straw and small parts, since they need extra attention to make sure everything is properly clean. Even with that, it has been a useful and practical cup, and it works well for this stage. I would still recommend it, keeping that in mind.
