Let me explain that I purchased this item together with the Trident AMS Exoskeleton outer case. Since I am posting a review for this case alone, I only gave it 4 stars. Since, by itself, I don't think it does any more for protecting your phone than the run-of-the-mill silicon sleeve will provide.However, this coupled with the Trident AMS Exoskeleton makes a fantastic combination. I prefer this solution over the Otterbox Defender. I have used those exclusively over the past few years. They are great in there own right, but not made for pocket carrying. The Otterbox Defender will stretch & tear over time, and turn your pocket inside out when you remove it from your pocket. The Trident AMS Exoskeleton plus this Perseus case together offer excellent protection for the phone, while being pocket-carry-friendly due to the hard plastic outer case.I would recommend this to anyone that wants excellent protection for their phones, and carries their phones in a pocket. Be advised, it adds as much (if not more) bulk than the Otterbox Defender.

I got this case because we got a Trident Kraken case for my 7 year old's iPad so I was excited to get this for my iPhone. Problem is, the back shell cracked after having it just a couple of days. Bummer! I ended up taking it off and just leaving on the front shell and it seems to be pretty protective like that.Pros: Modular system lets you use these parts separately or together, and the rubber Perseus case is cool, I just have an 18 month old so I needed more protection; the kickstand is a cool feature if the back wouldn't have cracked; very protective.Cons: Obviously this plastic is not made to be taken on and off. I left my adapter at home and needed to use my square card reader so in taking it on and off the back shell weakened and cracked. Oh yeah, so that's a con- you must use the adapter it came with for some audio cords and Square card readers!All in all, it's an ok case but I won't buy another one.

This case is a soft rubber-like case which is what I was looking for. It has extra protection on the corners which is a plus. If you use it on it's own (you can purchase the hard case to go over this soft one separately) it gives decent protection. My only problem is that it doesn't have a snug fit. When I grab my phone the case wobbles a bit or lifts from the sides. When I put the phone in my purse or pocket & want to take it out, the case comes off a bit because the fit is too loose. It's an ok case but would have been better if it fit more snugly.

I bought this Perseus case with the hard outer shell Kraken AMS system in light Blue. First, it looks really nice with the pink and very different from anything I've seen elsewhere. I really like that I can easily change the colors for not a lot of money and I still have the added comfort of having a very reliable durable case. This can be used alone, but I don't think I would use it that way, it does come with a screen protecter, if you buy the Kraken hard shell outer case that has a built in one included as well.

Maybe I didn't read the description closely enough but if you buy this product, we will want to get the exo-skeleton also. This is a silicone gel sleeve that is designed to go between the phone and the exo-skeleton. It is useful for changing colors without buying a complete case. I'm sure it offers some protection but it was not what I was looking for.

nice simple case. it feels like my phone is protected without having it too bulky. Nice and simply design is perfect. I hate cases that are too diffrent

It's a pretty color and I like that it is easy to put on the phone but since it's squishy there isn't much protection. And the case came off easily.
