Bought this for covert employee surveillance. Works good - better than expected. There were no instructions, but after a quick Google search, I found operation to be very simple. Press and hold the lock button. The blue light will illuminate. Then, either press/hold the trunk button for continuous recording, OR press / hold the unlock for motion sensing. The light will flash a couple times, and turn off. To turn it off, press / hold lock button - the indicator will flash red and blue at the same time.The status light does NOT illuminate while recording. This was a concern I had.Charge lasts longer than the SD card. The 64GB card will store around 8-9 hours of video. I bought a 512 GB card (because I didn't read the ad that says max 128GB). The 512 works, but some of the videos don't store. The 64GB card works flawlessly.Motion sensing picks up better than expected - but you have to be reasonable. I found it will activate at ANY movement up to 6' away, and it will pick up most movement at 10' Beyond that is hit and miss.Both continuous and motion detect recording uses 5 minute long blocks. In continuous, the transition from one video to the next is NEARLY seamless. There is a slight blip when played back to back, but its barely noticeable.Video quality is very good for what it costs. Don't expect 4k at 60FPS. A familiar person can be identified at 40-50 feet. Field of view is roughly 90 degrees, It's not grainy. Color quality is fairly good. Don't expect IMAX quality video, but it's a lot better then some more expensive covert cameras out there.When you first use it, the only unnerving thing is you can't see what its recording. That uneasy feeling goes away once you get used to it. I simply plop my keys down on my desk (I have it attached to my key ring) and have it pointed in the general direction I want, and that's good enough.It's plenty durable. I have dropped it several times without issue.SD card access is pretty simple, and it's well hidden.This key looks JUST like a GM car key, and has never been suspected, and the people who see it are in the automotive industry, so they're familiar with keys!

I bought this to catch a thief coworker. I didn't want wifi or internet connection, just for security purposes. I wasn't sure how good it would be, just because it wasn't super expensive and looks pretty basic. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only does it look just like a key fob, which makes it very well hidden in plain sight, but the video quality is awesome. It has individual recordings for a minute or so of each motion activation. It continues to record is movement is continually activated. I successfully caught the thief red handed and no one was the wiser.
