CHAMBERLAIN B2401 Smart Quiet Belt Drive Garage Door Opener, Gray

Seems to be a very good Garage Door and works well. Not bad to assemble, but you may need some assistance in actually getting it mounted into your ceiling. It is not heavy, but when you connect the far end to above the Garage door, it is very likely that if you are solo that you will damage it. This unit does support WIFI. What I like about it is not using it to open the door, but more so to see if the door opens when you are not there. You can also remote from anywhere with WIFI or cellular capability open the door from remote so they can put a package inside, or even if you want to open it to allow someone else that you trust to go inside. There are a tone of options with this one. While the unit is not Noisy or over loud, you can hear it operate! There was 1 critical Part that was missing, and a quick contact to support at Chamberlin they had one immediately shipped out to me with out any questions.

Although this was a little difficult to install, the instructional videos made it more straightforward. It is extremely quiet and the feature to be able to open it remotely through Wi-Fi while home or away is excellent. Very happy with his purchase.

Works very well, not the easiest installation by one person but it can be done. Cannot use LED bulbs, have to use CFL's. Much quieter than the chain drive it replaced.

This Chamberlain unit replaced an ancient chain drive Linear opener that finally gave up the ghost. It was easy to install and the smoothness and quietness of this unit’s belt drive is a welcome change and having the phone app to control it, in addition to the remote, is a nice addition. Several months later it is still working like new. Recommended.

I was a little worried about replacing my garage opener myself. Yet because the old model had been professionally installed, part of the work was already done. The new opener takes some time to assemble and install, but overall the directions were clear to both install and adjust. And then there are the results! It works well. It is so much quieter than the chain drive opener. Very good purchase.

Very bad experience with this opener. Installation was already complicated, and to make things worse, one of the safety sensors was missing from the box. After spending a lot of time and money getting it installed, the unit still doesn’t work properly.It will only open and close from the motor unit itself — the remotes, wall control, and smart features don’t function at all. I followed all programming steps correctly, including setting travel limits, but the opener refuses to save them. As a result, the door won’t operate normally, and remotes can’t be paired.I called Chamberlain support and was told they could send a technician — but I’d have to pay to diagnose a brand-new product, which is ridiculous.After further research, I found this is a known issue: some B2401T units ship with a faulty logic board or travel module that prevents the system from storing limits or recognizing remotes.Extremely disappointing for a new unit.
